Rutgers Professor Brittney Cooper's Latest

Hat tip The College Fix

"Michael Harriot sat down with noted scholar and Crunk Feminist Collective co-founder Brittney Cooper to dispel some myths about CRT."

“The thing I want to say to you is that we gotta take these motherfuckers out, but like, we can’t say that, right?,”

-Brittney Cooper, Rutgers: "Dispelling myths"

Rutgers University professor Brittney Cooper has darkened the pages of this site on several occasions with her outrageous comments on race. Yet, after this latest outburst, one wonders how long Rutgers can tolerate the shame and embarrassment she brings to that institution, which is supposed to be an elite university.

In a September interview with something called The Root Institute, Cooper launched into a full-blown attack on white people in general with the "scholarly" comment, "....we gotta take these motherf---ers out".

One of the "myths" Cooper was supposed to "dispel" in that interview was that CRT demonizes white people as being inherently racist.  If that is a myth, I would say she only reinforced it.

It's not just Rutgers football that needs rebuilding from the ashes.

Netherlands: Where Is the Greatest Threat to Public Safety?

Hat tip Dagelijkse Standaard. Translation by Fousesquawk.

Paul Cliteur is a Dutch law professor and writer. In this piece in the Dagelijkse Standaard, he points out how the Dutch media ignores the jihadist threat and prefers to talk about the threat from the extreme right-even though the latter has committed no attacks in the country.

Paul Cliteur Column: "A race war is also bad, you know"

By Paul Cliteur, 27 March 2021

Wout Willemsen raises an interesting point in DDS (Dageljkse Standaard): "Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg, the National Coordinator of Counter-Terrorism and Security (NCTV) states in the new threat assessment that jihadism still remains the biggest threat against the Netherlands. Nevertheless, the NCTV places the focus on the "right-extremist corner", although there is no concrete evidence for an attack".

Willemsen correctly states that the NCTV, with every new report on the threat assessment, actually comes out structurally with the same story, namely: "Jihadists are still the greatest danger, but at any moment, the right-extremists can also do something."

That also applies to the AIVD, by the way. The same story. Sometimes, it almost seems as if these services must conclude with some regret that the extreme right has not carried out an attack in the Netherlands. Extreme left, again, unfortunately. Volkert van de G., who murdered (Pim) Fortuyn. Jihadism also: Mohammed B., who murdered Theo van Gogh. Also, Unfortunately.

For extreme right attacks, on the other hand, one must look elsewhere to "illustrate the danger". To Norway (Breivik). Or even further away: New Zealand (Brenton Tarrant, see Jesper Jansen in "Diversity, Identity in the Culture Wars").

Fleur Verbeek and Max de Haan conclude the same in Elsevier and show how the various news services tackle the subject: "NOS, RTL Nieuws, and Trouw all chose in their headlines and most important (content/idea) angles (to write about) young, right-extremists, who are in a race war."

In short, the fog that has been erected by the NCTV and AIVD is working: The media completely ignores the most important cause of the violent threat, namely jihadists.

The question is then what inspires the NCTV and the AIVD. Do they realize they are walking on eggshells by naming the real causes of the insecurity? Do they know that the wokies all love to hear that the county is full of racists who want to unleash a new race war? And do they just say, "Yes, it could be"?

Let us conclude with a passage that Verbeek and De Haan quote from the NCTV report: For example, on 23 September, 9 jihadists in Eindhoven were arrested. The highly educated men between 18-31 years of age are suspected of the preparation and training for a terrorist attack. During a movie evening, one of them spoke of the death or kidnapping of Mark Rutte, Geert Wilders, and Thierry Baudet. The General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) had the group under observation."

Sorry, NOS, RTL, and Trouw, we cannot, unfortunately, conclude anything else. But a race war is also bad, you know? And could happen, right? You never know, after all.

Belgium: ISIS Terrorist Found Guilty

A Belgian court in Antwerp has convicted ISIS terrorist Hicham Chaib of a terrorist murder in absentia. There are reports that Chaib is deceased, but that is unclear. While in Belgium, Chaib was part of Sharia4Belgium.

Hicham Chaib found guilty of terrorist assassination in Syria

Updated: Wednesday, after two and a half hours of deliberation, the jury of the criminal court of Antwerp found Hicham Chaib (40), who was not present at the trial, guilty of the terrorist assassination of an unidentified prisoner in March 2016 in Syria

Staff- 27-October 2021, 18:34. Last updated: 19:46. Source: Belga.

The former figurehead of Sharia4Belgium was then part of the terrorist organization, Islamic State (IS). Images of the execution were spread on the internet a few days after the attacks in Brussels and Zaventem.

The 9-minute video surfaced on March 27, 2016. The attacks in Belgium were glorified, and in a monologue, Hicham Chaib took part in additional terror. At the end of the message, he killed the prisoner, dressed in orange and kneeling on the ground in front of him, with a bullet to the back of the head. The victim then received another bullet in the back. "The experts studied the video and concluded that the images were real and that the execution was not staged," the jury stated.

Former right-hand man of Fouad Belkacem

Before leaving for Syria, Hicham Chaib was the right-hand man of Fouad Belkacem, the leader of the terrorist group, Sharia4Belgium. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2015 in the trial against Sharia4Belgium, during the course of which, he had already absented himself, leaving for Syria.

Chaib risks life imprisonment

Aside from the terrorist assassination, Hicham Chaib also was found guilty of participation in the activities of the Islamic State and the threat of terrorist assassination, due to his threatening language toward the Belgian population in the execution video. Tomorrow/Thursday, the federal magistrate will request a sentence. Chaib faces a punishment of life imprisonment.

*Update (10-28-21) Chaib has been sentenced to life imprisonment and loss of his Belgian citizenship. Again, he was sentenced in absentia, and he is rumored to be dead though this is not confirmed.

Germany: "Free, Free Palestine-or Else"

As is the case in the US, the pro-Palestinian forces use intimidation and thuggery to advance their cause. Now in Berlin, three thugs beat a man for refusing to shout, "Free Palestine". As of this writing, the victim is fighting for his life, and the suspects are being sought by the police. The below article from WELT is translated by Fousesquawk.

36-year-old refuses to shout, "Free Palestine"- critically injured

Berlin police are searching for three men, who first harassed a 36-year-old and then beat him. Now the man is fighting for his life. The victim refused to shout an anti-Israel phrase.

Three unknown persons have critically injured a man in Berlin-Spandau. According to police, around 22:35, at Altstadter Ring, they reportedly demanded that the man shout, "Free Palestine" (German: "Freie Palaestina"). The words are considered anti-Israel since it questions the right of existence of the State of Israel.

When the man refused, the three men hit him, kicked him, and seriously injured him in the head, as the police reported. It was also confirmed to WELT that the victim is a German citizen. The 36-year-old lost consciousness for a short time. The three unknown persons then fled, according to the information.

Witnesses called an ambulance that took the man to the hospital. As yet, there is no indication of a possible connection between the three men and the 36-year-old, said a police spokesperson on Tuesday. The Criminal Police are investigating.

On Twitter, the Jewish NGO, Werte Initiative, called the attack a "heinous act". "It is obviously a brutal case of Israel-related anti-Semitism," which is being articulated more and more aggressively in Germany.

Fousesquawk comment: This should be a teaching point for those who are trying to figure out which side is right in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Pro-Israeli supporters in the West do not resort to violence, intimidation, and disruption to plead their case. For the pro-Palestinian forces, it's just what they do.

Joe Biden "Rebuilding" our Military

Should the West Defend the Rights of Muslim Women?

Hat tip PJ Media

"One of the drivers of Islamophobia, according to both El Sheikh and Sisemore, is the media’s portrayal of Muslim women as downtrodden and needing to be saved by Western culture and ideals."

-SF Chronicle

Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch has a good take on the latest insanity coming out of UC Berkeley, where two "researchers" from something called the UC Berkeley Othering and Belonging Institute, have conducted a "survey" on Muslim women and that old bugaboo, Islamophobia.

Personally, I would not send one American soldier back to Afghanistan-or any other Muslim country- for the express purpose of liberating Muslim women or ensuring that girls can go to school or hold jobs. So in that respect, the answer to the question posed in the title is no.

However, within the US and other democratic countries in the West, the hard-won rights of women (and gays) cannot be denied to women and gays who happen to be Muslim. Under our constitution and laws, they are entitled to the same rights that all women (and gays) are entitled to.

That means that they have the right to wear-or not to wear- face coverings without having them imposed on them by others.

They have the right to choose their marital partners without being forced to marry someone not of their choosing.

They have the right to assimilate into the native culture, for better or worse.

They have the right to change their religion or have none at all.

They have the right to be safe without being harmed or murdered for offending their family's "honor".

They have the right not to be subjected to female genital mutilation.

They have the right not to be abused physically by their husbands.

They have the right to be considered equal under the law to men.

They have the right to pursue a career in work and to be educated as much as men.

All of the above are conveniently overlooked by the two "researchers" who conducted this "survey", not to mention Western feminists.

In that respect, the answer to the above question in the title is yes.

Germany: ISIS' Willing Executioner

In 1996, Daniel Goldhagen wrote a book entitled, "Hitler's Willing Executioners" whose thesis was that the Holocaust was largely carried out, not just by Hitler, Himmler, Eichmann etc, but also by tens of thousands of ordinary German's during World War 2.

Today, a German court in Munich convicted a German woman, identified only as Jennifer W., of being an accessory to murder in Iraq. Specifically, the woman was accused and convicted of watching as her husband shackled a Yazidi girl in the courtyard under a blazing hot sun and allowing her to die of thirst. She was sentenced to ten years in prison.

Just as so many Germans fell under the spell of Hitler and engaged in horrific acts, here is an example of an ordinary German woman who fell under the spell of ISIS and engaged in horrific acts. Was she not aware of her own country's history? I have often argued that Germany today is a decent country, but the comparisons between the Nazis and ISIS should be obvious.

Finally, I think the sentence is ridiculously low. Though it is not mentioned in this article, the mother of the victim testified in the trial.

The below article from the Frankfurter Allgemeine is translated by Fousesquawk.

ISIS returnee Jennifer W. sentenced to 10 years in prison

The State High Court in Munich found the IS-returnee guilty Monday, among other things, of membership in a terrorist organization abroad. The federal prosecutor had demanded life in prison.

Updated, 10-25-21 11:02

In a terror trial, the ISIS-returnee, Jennifer W. was sentenced to 10 years in prison. The State High Court of Munich found her guilty on Monday of, among other things, membership in a terrorist organization abroad, accessory to attempted murder, as well as attempted war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The young woman looked shocked at the sentence, looked first at her lawyer for help, and then up at the ceiling of courtroom A 101. When the presiding judge, Joaquim Baier, justified the decision of the court, she looked down at her hands.

The federal prosecution had accused the 30-year-old woman from Lohne in Lower Saxony of being a member of the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq, and having passively watched as her then-husband chained a small Yazidi girl in a courtyard in the scorching sun and let her die of thirst. The child was  "defenselessly and helplessly exposed to the situation," said Judge Baier. The defendant, "from the beginning on, must have realized that the child was in life-threatening danger chained in the heat". But she, "did nothing," to help the child-although it was "possible and reasonable" (to do so). The court was also convinced that Jennifer W. later threatened to shoot the mother of the child, who was crying for her child, if she did not stop.

Jennifer W. was originally charged with murder and war crimes, among other things. Her ex-husband is standing trial in Frankfurt for the alleged act.

The federal prosecution had demanded a life sentence for the woman, the defense a maximum 2-year sentence for membership in the terrorist organization, ISIS.

The defendant was conscious of the inhuman goals and acts of ISIS when she traveled to Iraq, to join the organization, emphasized the OLG. Jennifer W. and her husband had exploited the mother of the deceased girl as a house slave, explained Judge Baier in the sentence justification. The woman was beaten daily. Jennifer W. often incited her husband to do so. With her ISIS membership, she supported the "destruction of the Yazidi religion" and the "enslavement of the Yazidi people".

From Europe to Montana: Dealing With Afghan Refugees

This week in Montana, Zabihullah Mohmand, 19, from Afghanistan, was charged with rape. From the news reports, it is not entirely clear when this young man made his way to our shores, and he is claiming that the sex was consensual. At any rate, the suspect appears to be part of President Biden's resettlement program for Afghans. Montana Governor Greg Gianforte is asking the Biden administration to halt Afghan resettlement in his state.

Of course, it would have been nice had our government leaders read the reports coming out of Western Europe, where young, unaccompanied Afghan "refugees" and asylum-seekers have been wreaking havoc in places like Austria, Germany, and Sweden-just to name a few.

I have consistently stated that we owe it to those Afghans who fought and worked at our side to get them safely out of Afghanistan and the clutches of the Taliban. That said, I am opposed to massive Afghan immigration of people who are not vetted.  We are already seeing the catastrophe in Europe. Given the situation in Afghanistan, most European countries are not deporting convicted criminals back home.

It is not just that we and the Europeans have loaded people onto planes who have no business coming to the West, who didn't help us, who didn't fight on our side, but merely made it onto planes at Kabul Airport. Even before the collapse of Afghanistan, Europe was dealing with a  wave of crime and violence at the hands of unassimilable young men who hate the West and who think the local women are just whores to be taken at will. Many hold a primitive Islamic worldview that has no place in a democratic, egalitarian society. Need I even mention the threat of terror?

Yet, no matter what Montana officials say, the Biden administration will continue to bring thousands of unvetted Afghans to our states and cities. Many, perhaps even most will do well. But make no mistake: In the coming years, we will read about the FBI arresting some of these people (including their children as they grow older) for terror-related offenses, innocent people will die, and there will be rapes.

How do I know all this? Because it is already happening in Europe. What allegedly happened in Montana is just the start for our country.

EU Funds Anti-Jewish Books for Palestinian Schoolchildren

Hat tip Unzensuriert. Translation by Fousesquawk.

The conservative Austrian blog, Unzensuriert, has a report on how the EU is funding schoolbooks to the Palestinian territories that are clearly anti-Semitic and portray the Jews as enemies.

There have been many exposes in recent years as to the anti-Jewish nature of Palestinian education and how Western countries are funding this hate. This latest one is not the first.

One wonders if Jews have any future in Europe.

With the votes of the left-wing parties, the European Parliament voted for the continued financing of anti-Semitic schoolbooks with 20 million euros.

EU funds anti-Semitic books in Palestine with 20 million euros.

The European Union is supporting the school system in Palestinian areas in Israel with several million euros, including with books. Now a study shows that the book are strongly anti-Semitic. Nevertheless, the Parliament decided that this program will continue.

Jews are portrayed as the enemy

According to the revealing report of the European Commission, the Palestinian children are trained to be activists. In many places, the Jews are portrayed as the enemy. As Die Bild reports, the commission put the European Parliament to a vote on the continuation of the program-who voted in favor!

Red-Green-Left always the first

From the German point of view, it was the deputies of SPD, the Greens, and the Left Party mainly responsible for the voting result. Union and FDP voted unanimously against a continuation, the AFD (Alternative for Germany), for the most part, as well. Incomprehensible when you consider how quickly the Red-Green-Left bloc in German politics always warns mantra-like at every sign of patriotism as "anti-Semitism".

Alternative peace project rejected

The amount involved is not insignificant: Just for the current legislative period of 5 years, 20 million euros in taxpayer money is allotted for the anti-Semitic school books. Especially scandalous is that they already had an alternative plan for the money. With a negative vote result, the money would have flowed to organizations in the Palestinian area, who demonstrably promote peace. How this Red-Green-Left could refuse it is something their deputies have to explain to the voters.

France: Muslim Who Attacked Police with Knife "not Radicalized-Just Crazy"

It's a case of deja vu all over again in France. Once again, cops are attacked by a crazy man with a knife yelling, "Allahu Akhbar". The cops shoot the man dead in self-defense, and the official version is that the man was not radicalized, just suffering from a psychiatric illness.

It happened Friday in Colombes (Hauts de Seine). The translation of the article from France Bleu is by Fousesquawk.

Police attacked at Colombes: The man shot dead was not radicalized according to preliminary elements of investigation

Saturday 23 October 20:54 Par , France Bleu Paris, France Bleu

The national prosecutor at Nanterre states that the "investigation has not yet revealed evidence of radicalization of the person concerned, who reportedly was the object of a psychiatric hospitalization."

The man shot dead Friday at Colombes (Hauts de Seine) after having threatened police officers with a knife, had not been radicalized according to the preliminary elements of the investigation. In a press release, the prosecutor of Nanterre, Pascal Prache, states that "he was reportedly the object of a psychiatric hospitalization". He stated  also that "his judicial file has no trace of a conviction, and he is known for two previous offenses relative to other infractions."

The national anti-terrorist prosecutor office was informed Friday evening, but in view of the first elements furnished by the investigation, opened for "attempted murder of personnel of public authority", the prosecutor of Nanterre remains in charge. The police officers and the witnesses present at the scene were interviewed. "From the first elements gathered, it appeared that two police officers, who were making identity checks, used their firearms firing several shots at a man who was advancing on them armed with a knife and crying, "Allahu Akhbar" after having thrown a glass bottle in the direction of the officers," the prosecutor explains.

The man shot dead was 41 years of age, he resided, "it seems at Garenne-Colombes," in Haut de Seine. In spite of the intervention of medical personnel, the man died of his wounds. The autopsy is scheduled for 24 October 2021. The investigation continues in order to clarify the sequence of events. The General Inspection of the National Police (IGPN) is also involved.

Merrick Garland vs. America's Parents

On Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before Congress. He faced tough questioning from Republicans on a variety of issues including the memo he just sent to the FBI directing them to investigate alleged intimidation of school board members by angry parents who have been showing up at school board meetings. Many are angry over the indoctrination of their children by schools and teachers. In particular, many are incensed by the teaching on Critical Race Theory.

This article first appeared in New English Review.

As one who has gone to a couple of school board meetings in Southern California and participated in the public comments time, I would like to weigh in. I also should note that I am retired from the US Department of Justice, which Garland leads and has directed to get involved in this matter.

Public school board meetings, like county and local government board meetings, have certain sessions open to the public, who, in turn, may ask questions or give their opinions-with time limits, of course. Naturally, there are rules of decorum, and threats of violence or violence itself are unlawful. Violators are subject to arrest by local police. I myself would never condone a parent or other member of the public engaging in violence or threats. That is not the point. The point is that we have appropriate local laws and local police to deal with such instances. We don’t need the federal Justice Department getting involved. The only exception, as I see it, would be if there were some conspiracy across state lines to disrupt or do harm to school board meetings and members. I do not see that here. Parents and/or community members showing up to express their anger at the way their children or being taught is fully protected speech as long as they adhere to the guidelines and do not engage in violence, disruption, or threats.

The most notorious case is the recent arrest of a parent in Loudoun County, Virginia, who showed up to accuse the school board of covering up his daughter’s rape. The video I have seen of his removal and arrest indicates to me that the arrest is highly questionable, but I stress that I have only seen a video clip.

Unfortunately for Garland, there is also a possible conflict of interest for him since he has a son who is reportedly involved with the Critical Race Teaching movement. But that is a side issue. The main issue here is whether there has actually been a wave of violent or threatening incidents at school board meetings around the country-other than parents merely expressing their anger. If so, that is a matter for the local police to handle not the US Justice Department-except in the case in which there might be a nationally coordinated effort across state lines to disrupt or engage in unlawful behavior. Then the DOJ can get involved. Again, I don’t see that here. There may or may not be a nation-wide attempt to organize parents to oppose CRT or the teaching of the  “Woke” dogma. That’s OK too as long as it doesn’t encourage lawbreaking.

In my view, Garland’s actions here only add to the growing concern that the federal government under President Joe Biden is trying to criminalize dissent. Garland is the same man that former President Obama unsuccessfully tried to put on the Supreme Court. He should know better and should use more restraint before he injects federal law enforcement into local school board controversies. School boards are, indeed, answerable to their constituents.

More ISIS Women and Children Coming to Sweden

The good news just keeps coming out of Sweden. Yesterday, Swedish authorities took three ISIS  women and 8 children out of a Kurdish-run prisoner camp in Syria. Today, the plane with the women and children landed in Stockholm (see photo below).

Given the lax penal system in Sweden, my guess is that these women will-at the most- spend a couple of years in prison then be released back into their communities (no-go zones) to raise those kids to be future jihadists. *(Update: The women have, indeed, been taken into custody as reported today by Expressen.)

The below article yesterday from Nyheter Idag is translated by Fousesquawk.

New ISIS Women Deported to Sweden

Caption beneath photo: ISIS women riot in al-Hol camp in Syria

Wednesday 20 October 2021

Syria/Sweden-Three ISIS women, together with eight children, have left al-Roj camp in Syria and are now believed to be on their way back to Sweden, Expressen reports. According to SVT (Swedish State TV), they will land at Arlanda (Stockholm Airport) on Thursday.

It was around 9, local time, when the women were taken out of the camp in NE Syria where they had earlier been held prisoner.

In the camp, there are about 11,000 ISIS terrorists from all over the world. The Kurdish forces that control the camp have long held that Sweden should take back those prisoners with Swedish citizenship. But since that has not happened, they have chosen instead to deport the women who can not be brought to justice due to lack of evidence, writes SVT.

Of the women who now appear to be returning, two of them are reportedly from West Sweden and one from Stockholm, according to SVT's information.

The Kurds who run the camps see ISIS women as a security risk.

"These women have been with ISIS, and we have said for months that those we cannot or do not have the resources to bring to justice will be deported for life since they pose a security risk," said the northern representative for the Kurdish autonomous government, Shiyar Ali, in connection with the three other women deported to Sweden earlier in the autumn, according to Expressen.

At Arlanda, the women and children are expected to be received by police, social services, and doctors. In the case of suspected crimes, the NOA's (Police National Operative Section) war crime group will take them in for a hearing.

According to SVT, several more Swedish ISIS women will be deported shortly. What number that involves is unknown.

One woman who remains in the camp complains to Expressen that the situation there is serious.

"I am happy that several have been allowed to leave. Especially children. They should not have to stay in such a place as this. But after the fire yesterday, I feel sad that several children still remain here. Every day one is here, one comes closer to death," she says to the newspaper.

France: The Samuel Paty Case Still Haunts France

Samuel Paty

France is still feeling the effects from the murder of schoolteacher Samuel Paty last year, beheaded by a Muslim man outside school for showing caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed in class. A few days ago in Valence, France, a moment of silence was being held in class for Paty when an 11-year-old boy cried, "Allahu Akhbar". When his father was notified of the incident by school authorities, he threatened to burn the school down. He was subsequently arrested.

The below article from France Bleu is translated by Fousesquawk.

Threats after tribute to Samuel Paty: The father of schoolboy will be judged in January

Wednesday, 20 October 2021 at 15:24-by Florence Beaudet, France Bleu Drome Ardeche, France Bleu

Father of pupil who threatened to set fire to Jean Zay School at Valence will be judged next 20 January. He has been placed under judicial control awaiting his trial

Caption beneath photo: The threatening father appeared before the prosecutor this Wednesday morning

The case begins Friday October 15 during a  tribute to Samuel Paty, the teacher murdered by a terrorist a year earlier. A pupil, age 11, at the Jean Zay School makes a provocation during a minute of silence and cries, "Allahu Akhbar". When he is informed of the warning against the boy, the father supports his son's attitude and threatens the school principal on the phone. Threats he reiterates it in going to the school Monday morning. He is then arrested by the police and placed in custody.

The man "minimizes the facts"

According to the national prosecutor of Valence, the man, age 43, admitted part of the facts, notably,
"that he verbally attacked school personnel", and that he had threatened to "set the establishment on fire". But, Alex Perrin further writes in a press release released this Wednesday, the man, "minimized them in evoking his anger at the situation. He explains that he was carried away by the action taken against his son."

He is not on file for radicalization

Psychiatric expertise requested by the Valence prosecutor shows that the father of the family is totally responsible for his acts. He presents no psychiatric pathology, "despite an impulsive potential". This Valence security officer is not known to the services in charge of following radicalization, nor is he listed as (a radical). The prosecutor did not (allege) support for terrorism, "due to lack of remarks made in public". The man will be prosecuted for death threats against persons charged with the mission of public service and attacks on public property.

The prosecution had asked for an immediate judgment in appearance and placement in provisional custody. The judge of liberty and detention ruled Wednesday afternoon: The man is allowed to remain in liberty under judicial control awaiting his trial, which will take place next 20 January.

New York Times Censorship of Anti-Semitism

 Hat tip Algemeiner

I am cross-posting an article from the Jewish news site, Algemeiner, featuring an interview with Bari Weiss by conservative commentator Ben Shapiro. Weiss resigned as opinion editor from the New York Times in 2020 due to the leftist intolerance of that newspaper. In this interview, she describes how the Times refused to publish an article she wrote based on two anti-Jewish attacks that had occurred in the US in 2019. The problem? The perpetrators were not white, neo-Nazi types.

The two incidents Weiss had written about were:

December 2019. An attack on a Jewish grocery store in Jersey City, New Jersey that left one police officer and three people inside the store dead. The two perpetrators, both identified as followers of the so-called Black Israelites, a viciously anti-Semitic group, were also killed. In the linked article, a photo of the male attacker shows him sporting a Palestinian keffiyeh. Quite telling.

Also in December 2019, a man entered the home of a rabbi during Hannukah with a machete and attacked everyone inside, injuring 5 people. He was charged with 5 counts of attempted murder.

Unfortunately for the New York Times, in both cases, the attackers were not white nationalist, Neo-Nazi types. All happened to be African-American. Thus, they did not fit the narrative of the Times.

If you look at all the cases of attacks on Jews in the US in Europe in recent years, whites make up a minority of the attackers-especially in Europe, where the overwhelming majority are Muslim immigrants. I have written many times on this site about the problem of Muslim violence against Jews in Europe. Sadly, the police, politicians, and media avoid describing the attackers so as not to mention that they are Arabs, North Africans, Afghans, Somalis, etc. It is an outrage.

Racially or religiously-inspired attacks against others are always to be condemned, regardless of who the victims were or who the attackers were. Yes, there are white nationalists and neo-Nazis, both in Europe and North America. They are to be condemned for their ideology and when they engage in acts of hate and violence. No, not all African-Americans hate Jews or feel compelled to attack them. But if anti-Semitism exists within white communities, it also exists within black communities, and it must be addressed. Here our churches should be playing an active role instead of involving themselves in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and buttering up to deceptive imams in these misguided inter-faith affairs.

The lesson from the Bari Weiss episode is not just the ideological bias of our media. When a group of people is under attack-in this case, Jews- we need to be honest as to who the perpetrators are. That is not meant to single out groups of people as being "haters" when most are not. But when the media limits itself solely to covering stories involving attacks by white racists, while ignoring or obscuring attacks by other groups against Jews, it is engaging in......

fake news.

Pete Buttigieg and Biden's "Success"

"Good news, mein Fuehrer. You have successfully guided Germany through World War II. The presence of all these Russians in Berlin is just a testament to that."

Yesterday, while flying from San Francisco to Orange County and passing by Long Beach, I was able to see all those container ships sitting off the port due to the supply chain mess.

Wondering where Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was (He was on paternity leave), I was nonetheless reassured to learn that this is just a result of President Biden's success in guiding the country out of the recession. That according to Buttigieg.

Not even Goebbels would have thought of that.

UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) Professor and Sharia

"A tiger is no better than a banana slug."

It's truly amazing what passes for scholarship in American universities these days. That is especially true at UC Santa Cruz, America's Wackiest University, and home of the Banana Slugs (among other assorted critters).

Take Mark Fathi Massoud, for example. He is a professor of politics and legal studies at UCSC. He argues that it is colonialism to blame for Islamic extremism-not sharia law.

Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch, who is an expert on the subject, points out the fallacy of Massoud's thesis much better than I can, so here is his take on the matter.

Turning back to Massoud's article, we find this quote:

“The People are equal like the teeth of a comb,” wrote Sudan’s soon-to-be Supreme Court Justice Hassan Muddathir in 1956, quoting the Prophet Muhammad, in an official memorandum I found archived in Khartoum’s Sudan Library. “An Arab is no better than a Persian, and the White is no better than the Black.”

Interesting comment since sharia law codifies the second class treatment of women as opposed to men, gays as opposed to heteros, and non-Muslims as opposed to Muslims. In each case, it is the latter group who is "better than" the former. While there is nothing objectionable or false in the above quote per se, the examples I brought up are conveniently not mentioned.

It is also sharia law which mandates death to apostates-Muslims who leave Islam-particularly if they are critical of Islam as part of their apostasy.

This is typical scholarship on the part of Islam apologists. They point out something with a kernel of truth in it and come to a false conclusion, ignoring the contradictory points.

The truth of the matter is that sharia law is at the heart of Islamic extremism and violence. That, along with the Koran and the hadith, is what mandates the violence we see today and have been witnessing for 1400 years.

"While Fousesquawk Slept....."

As my readers noticed, there were no postings this past week. That was because I was in Orlando, Florida all week attending our annual DEA reunion as well as visiting an old Army buddy and his wife.

Jihad did not take the week off, however. It never does. While I was away, horrific events kept on occurring. I just want to quickly highlight two that happened in Europe.

On October 15, a British-born Muslim of Somali descent stabbed a member of parliament to death. Why, we "don't know" but the victim, David Amess, was a supporter of Israel. At any rate, it is reported that the accused killer, Ali Harbi Ali, was a fervent admirer of notorious British Muslim hate preacher, Anjem Choudary.

Meanwhile, in Norway, five people were killed by a man wielding a bow and arrows. It happened on October 13 in Kongsberg. The accused killer, Espen Andersen Brathen, is a Danish citizen who recently converted to Islam. (*A new report today indicates the victims were actually stabbed to death.)

The common thread here is not Somalis or immigration. Neither are immigrants, and the latter is a native Dane. The common thread, as it almost always is-is Islam. Both were "radicalized"-if that is the right word.

Spain: Minister of Equality Calls Rape Claim, "False Rumor"

Hat tip EDATV (Spain), Contando Estrellas and Vlad Tepes

Spain's minister of equality (whatever that is) is Irene Montero, a communist, by the way. As we reported yesterday, a woman in Reus (Tarragona), has claimed that she was sexually attacked by three Arabs for wearing a t-shirt with a Vox logo. Vox is a conservative party in Spain that is opposed to massive illegal/Islamic immigration.

A reporter asked Montero if she condemned the attack. Instead, she attacked the media for "spreading false rumors and false news", which she termed "fascist". The exchange was captured on videotape (EDATV).

Translation for the above video and for the below article in Contando is by Fousesquawk.

The minister refused to condemn the rape and said she condemned "fascism"

The miserable answer of Irene Montero on the rape of a Vox sympathizer

The political sectarianism of the government and in particular Podemos (party) is reaching some purely criminal extremes, as we have been able to see today.

The rape (victim) reported that her attackers spoke Arabic among themselves.

Today, the daily, El Mundo, reported on a rape complaint given by a Vox sympathizer in Reus (Tarragona). The woman, 30, reported to the Catalan police that she was raped by three Arabs for wearing a Vox t-shirt. The acts occurred 21 September at 20:00 as she was going in the direction of the Vila-Seca Institute in Reus. The report goes as follows: "When she was about to enter the parking area of the blue zone in front of the library, two young men addressed her from behind telling her, 'you have to take off that t-shirt,' and 'if she doesn't take it off, I will."

The woman ignored them, and seeing that they were following her, she began to walk faster. Finally, they pushed her into a van parked on the library square. In the vehicle was a third individual who spoke with the others in Arabic. One of them grabbed her by the neck and back and got her into the van, the other two entering and closing the door. Once inside, the victim reported that, "they tore her shirt that she was wearing and her pants, and while one of them kept hold of her neck, one of the other two inserted an object that she could not identify into her vagina causing much pain". She resisted and they gave her a blow to the head.

When the rapists got tired, they threw her from the van saying, "tomorrow, don't wear this t-shirt again". She went running home "without looking back". giving her report to the Catalunyan police, who are carrying out inquiries on the matter, so far with no arrests.

Irene Montero refuses to condemn the rape when asked by EDATVThis afternoon, Channel EDATV asked the minister of equality if she condemned the rape of the Vox sympathizer.  In a response that only deserves to be classified as miserable, the communist, Irene Montero, avoided condemning the rape and said that she condemns, "the fascism that is exercised from the media." Though EDATV persisted, Montero continued to avoid condemning the rape and repeated the same answer.Tweet from Estado de Alarma TV:The reporter from edatvoficial@Rodrigo_Vilar_ asked @IreneMontero@Podemos if she condemned the rape of a Vox sympathizer at the hands of two Arabs. She refuses to condemn it preferring to insult us as she did with @javiernegre10.

A miserable attitude never before seen in the government of a democratic countryIt is not the first time that the minister of equality refuses to condemn attacks against Vox. We recall that in April, Montero justified the rock attacks suffered by Vox members in Valleca, Madrid, accusing the victims of carrying out "provocations". The famous argument of the mini-dress. Yes, that- to this day, no member of the Spanish government had refused to condemn a crime due to the fact it was reported by a sympathizer of a rival party. It is something that had not been seen in a democratic party and leaves this government at the mud level ethically speaking. The attitude demonstrated today by Irene Montero not only shows her worst human quality and her low moral class, but also her inability to continue occupying a position in which, theoretically, she must watch out for all women, and not just for those of her own ideology.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Fousesquawk comment: As for the woman's complaint, no arrests have been made. The incident is being investigated by the police. It appears that a hospital examination confirmed that the woman suffered vaginal and anal injuries. I will await the results of a police investigation, but if the incident really occurred, it is shocking that this could happen because she was wearing a t-shirt with a logo of a party that opposes Islamic immigration and is at odds with the government in power. If the charge is true, Ms Montero should be ashamed.

California: Gov. Newsom Signs Critical Race Theory Bill for Calif. Schools

"Jews not wanted" in German

It is hardly surprising. California's woke governor, Gavin Newsom, having waited until he survived a recall vote, has now signed California's version of Critical Race Theory that will result in this divisive and false theory being taught to California schoolchildren.

In spite of letters and petitions from outraged parents and Jewish groups who foresaw an increase in anti-Semitism in California schools (Features of this bill would teach that Israel is oppressing Palestinians and that Jews are merely nothing more than "privileged whites"-thus, "oppressors".). So now, in addition to the myriad of anti-Semitic problems that reign on California university campuses, Jewish students in secondary schools will now be exposed to additional harassment.

And make no mistake: The California Teachers Union supported this measure, and now their more "woke" members will be able to spread their poison against white students and Jewish students just as Palestinian-supporting professors/students do on our university campuses.

My friend and colleague, Tammi Rossman-Benjamin of the AMCHA Initiative, who lobbied hard against this measure, has an article breaking the bad news.

Spain: Woman Sexually Attacked for Wearing VOX T-Shirt

Hat tip Vlad Tepes and Gates of Vienna. Translation by Fousesquawk.

In Tarragona (Catalunya), a Spanish woman has reported to the police that she was attacked by three young Arab men while jogging at night and wearing a VOX (party) t-shirt. VOX is a conservative political party in Spain that is opposed to unrestricted immigration and is especially critical of Islamic immigration. The woman alleges that the three men ordered her to remove her t-shirt then dragged her into a white van where she was brutally beaten and sexually attacked with unidentified objects. A police investigation is underway.

We are presently translating an audio account of the incident by the victim, which is quite graphic. In the meantime, here is a very brief report on the incident from the Spanish newspaper, El Periodico

Sexual attack in Tarragona

Woman reports that she was raped in Reus for wearing a VOX t-shirt

According to the victim's account, three "Arab" boys attacked her and "asked"* her to remove the garment. (* Quotes by translator)

A woman has reported that she was raped in Reus (Baix Camp) for wearing a VOX t-shirt a couple of weeks ago. Criminal Court 4 of this city is investigating the alleged group sexual attack committed by three young men on September 21, as reported by El Mundo.

The judge has opened preliminary proceedings after receiving a report from the Catalunyan Police. Judith M.R. 30, has already given a statement to the police. It is maintained that the attackers were young "Arabs".

Remove the t-shirt

On the 21st, around 20:00, she left her residence "dressed in cycling tights, sneakers, and a black t-shirt with straps with the emblem of VOX on the front."

She was going in the direction of the Vila-seca Institute in Reus. "When she was about to enter in the parking lot of the blue zone in front of the library, two young men addressed her from behind, saying, " You have to take off that t-shirt," " If she doesn't take it off, I will," the woman related,

DEA Agent Killed in Tucson

As a retired DEA agent, I am sad to see that our agency has lost another hero in the line of duty. Special Agent Mike Garbo was shot and killed at the Tucson train station on October 4 while conducting a drug investigation. Also shot and wounded were another DEA agent and Tucson PD officer. One suspect was killed and a second was arrested.

Here is a statement issued on October 5, by DEA Administrator Anne Milgram.

DEA agents have one of the most dangerous jobs in law enforcement. When we lose one of our own, it impacts the entire organization whether we knew the agent or not.

I pray for the family of Mike Garbo and for the recovery of the other DEA agent and Tucson Police Department officer.

* A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help defray the funeral expenses of the Garbo family.

Sweden, Europe, and Other Things

Several readers of this blog might be asking why there are so many postings about Europe, especially Sweden. During the past week, most every article has featured events in Sweden, specifically with the death of cartoonist Lars Vilks.

As an American blogger, I would like to address this. It is not that I am not interested in events in my own country. I absolutely am, from the disastrous presidency of Joe Biden, to the excesses of the radical left, and many other issues, including on our college campuses. When this blog first opened in 2007, two of my main issues were anti-Semitism, particularly on college campuses, and Islamic jihad. That is still the case today.

Both of those issues are huge problems in Europe. As I have pointed out many times, Europe is dealing with mass migration of people from mostly Muslim countries, and the results have been a catastrophe-also for Jews who now have to deal with renewed anti-Semitism. It is so bad that Jews are leaving Europe in large numbers. What happens in Europe is important to the US because it should teach us lessons about immigration, which, if not handled right, can go so wrong.

Sweden is prominent on this site for two reasons: First of all, it arguably has the worst immigrant/refugee situation in Europe in terms of crime. Secondly, this site is able to translate Swedish articles into English. I myself have been a student of Swedish since the 1990s, and I am still active in developing my Swedish skills. The same is true of Dutch, which I began learning around 2000 when I was researching my book on the history of Papiamentu-the creole language spoken on three of the islands in the Dutch Antilles. (Most of the literature on Papiamentu has been written in Dutch.) In addition, I have lived in three foreign countries, Germany, Thailand, and Italy, and am married to a Mexican. Suffice to say, Fousesquawk is in a position to translate news from most West European countries. I feel that we should take advantage of this capability and not let it go to waste.

But I recognize that this has resulted in fewer postings about very serious issues going on in the US. I am trying not to lose sight of the problem of anti-Semitism in America, particularly on our college campuses. I am still very interested in Islamic radicalism in the US, as well as what Joe Biden is doing every day.

So please be patient with me, Dear Readers.

In Sweden, Some Are Cheering the Death of Lars Vilks

Hat tip Fria Tider. Translation by Fousesquawk.

The news of the death of Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks in a horrific traffic collision is the biggest story in Sweden right now. Not everyone in Sweden is mourning the death of the man who had to live in hiding for 14 years after drawing a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad. Some Muslims (I don't know how many) are openly celebrating Vilks' death. The below article from Fria Tider is translated by Fousesquawk. We are attempting to find video material as well.

Muslims cheer Lars Vilks' death

Published 4 October 2021 09:20

Domestic: On social media, countless posts are being spread from Muslims, both in Sweden and the rest of the world, celebrating Lars Vilks' death.

On Sunday evening, it was revealed that it was Lars Vilks who had died in the attention-getting car accident on (Highway) E 4.

Then the malicious posts immediately began to spread.

"Praise be to God, God is great, but he (Vilks) rest in urine."

"It never would have happened like this but for God. Surely, he is burning like a rolling pig."

These are some of the comments on Lars Vilks' death that Samnytt has published.

On Twitter, there is a special, so-called hashtag-#larsvilkstohell-where a large number of Muslims are celebrating the news of the death. Many state that it must be Allah who has commanded justice because Vilks drew the prophet, Mohammad.

Sweden: Immigration, Women and Feminists

Hat tip Two Raven Films, Vlad Tepes, and Gates of Vienna.

The below video is produced by Two Raven Films Inc., a company dedicated to free speech. It is just over an hour-long, but well worth it. About half of the video is in English and the other half in Swedish. We have translated the Swedish portions into English subtitles. (After translating the Swedish into English subtitles, we discovered that the film is also available with English sub-titles under the title, Cancel Nation.) That is apparently available in trailer form at this time. It is important to note that the version we have translated and posting here is not the original translation, only our version.

The video concerns the status of women in Sweden, which is being swamped with mostly Muslim immigrants, and how that is impacting the status of women in the country-both Swedish and immigrant women. The video is not only critical towards Sweden's lax immigration policy and political correctness, but it is also critical of Swedish feminists, who ignore the abuses of women within Muslim communities, preferring to blame it all on male patriarchy in general, principally blaming Swedish men.

The video's producers interviewed several people in Sweden including a teacher who was fired for participating in a demonstration, as well as an immigrant woman (from Iran) who was abused by her husband and opened a women's shelter-at the risk of her own life.

Lars Vilks dead in a sea of fire after head-on crash with truck

Domestic    3 October 2021  22:58

Around 3:30 pm on Sunday, an unmarked  police car collided with a truck on (Highway) E-4 outside Markaryd. Police were initially silent about the incident but later in the evening, reported that the three persons who were traveling in the vehicle and died in connection with the head-on crash were Lars Vilks, the artist threatened with death and known for his Mohammad/dog caricatures*, as well as his two police bodyguards.

According to reports, the police vehicle reportedly crossed over into the oncoming side of the road despite the fact that a center rail was there. Both vehicles burst into fire in the massive collision and were engulfed in a fiery sea of burning gasoline.

The (truck) driver, a 45-year-old man, reportedly survived and was taken in an ambulance helicopter to the hospital with serious injuries. Police don't want to say if there are any criminal suspicions against the driver that he intentionally caused the crash.

"I cannot say at the present time if there are any criminal suspicions," said police press spokesperson, Rickard Lundqvist to the media.

Several question marks surrounding the accident

How the accident could have happened is unclear. An accident investigation has now been assigned by the special prosecutor to bring clarity to this.

For several years, Vilks has had a price on his head since a Muslim death fatwa was pronounced, and according to reports, this sort of center railing at the location should not be so easily forced by a vehicle. The explosive fire also raises questions.

Presently, however, there is no information that indicates that a car bomb was detonated, or that the vehicle was exposed to an attack. Police are otherwise silent on the incident.

Press conference Monday

"Unfortunately, we cannot make any comment just now, it is an extremely special incident which we cannot give information about," says Karin Rosander, press chief for the prosecutor's office, to the media.

Police will hold a press conference on the case Monday at 10:15 at the justice center in Malmo.

"I cannot presently say if there is any criminal suspicion," says police spokesperson, Rickard Lundqvist.

The accident caused a total stop in traffic and a section of E4 around the accident site was blocked off. Traffic will be closed off as long as the crime scene investigation is ongoing.

* The Swedish word, Rondellhundar (traffic roundabout dogs) refers to figures of dogs placed by people in traffic roundabouts as a form of street art in Sweden. Vilks' cartoons featured a dog's head on a caricature of the Muslim prophet, Mohammad.

Sweden: Cartoonist Lars Vilks, 2 Policemen Killed in Car Crash

Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks, famous for his cartoons mocking the Muslim prophet, Mohammad, has been killed in a car crash along with two police officers who were guarding him. Vilks had been living under police protection for 14 tears after his cartoons led to death threats against him.

Due to the long-standing threats against Vilks, as well as the deaths of two police officers, this incident is being carefully investigated.

The accident occurred today on a highway near the town of Markaryd in southern Sweden. According to initial reports, Vilks' vehicle somehow crossed the center divider and went onto the oncoming lane crashing into a truck. Both vehicles caught on fire. The truck driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

We are monitoring Swedish news reports for further details.

Spain: Former Health Minister Storms out of Discussion Panel on Covid Vaccines

Hat tip Vlad Tepes and Gates of Vienna. Translation by Fousesquawk.

Maria Luisa Carcedo is a former minister of health in Spain. During the past week, she appeared on a Spanish discussion panel organized by La Clave Cultural, and moderated by Federico Ruiz de Lobera. The topic was Covid-19 and the vaccines. Also appearing were Dr Juan Martinez-Selles, president of the College of Doctors in Madrid, Dr Juan Jose Martinez, Ángel Ruiz Valdepeñas, and Dr Natalia Prego. The latter three doctors are critics of the vaccine and claim that thousands of people have died after taking it. They are affiliated with an organization called Doctors for Truth Spain (English translation). In fact, when they brought up the subject of vaccinated people dying, Ms. Carcedo became angry, removed her microphone, and left the stage, followed by Dr  Martinez-Selles.

This incident has received wide coverage in Spain. Interestingly, YouTube has taken down the video, but it is available on other servers, like Rumble.

Below is the excerpt of the event in which Carcedo leaves the stage.
