Eric Holder 2011 Fousesquawk Jerk of the Year

Attorney General Eric Holder
2011 Fousesquawk "Jerk of the Year"
Golden Penguin award winner

The competition for this year's Jerk of the Year award wasn't really close although Arnold Schwarzenegger got off to a fast start out of the gate with his sentence commutation of political pal Fabian Nunez's killer son, and Janet Napolitano put up a decent fight to defend her 2010 crown while doing nothing to defend the nation. Anthony Wiener made the biggest splash, but it came and went in a fortnight.

Thus, in the end, Eric Holder ran away with the prize with his lying and cover-up of ATF's Operation Fast and Furious. Not only that, but Holder ran his Justice Department as if it was a private fiefdom devoted to racial politics. Holder has protected gross violators of voting rights when they were black (New Black Panther Party in Philadelphia and Ike Brown in Mississippi), but cracked down on states when they tried to enforce illegal alien laws or prevent voter fraud with ID laws. As we speak, Holder's Justice Department is challenging South Carolina's voter ID law, a simple measure designed to stop voter fraud-which the Democrats will undoubtedly put to use in 2012. In addition, he has shown pure incompetence with his inability to decide where and how to try foreign terrorists.

Eric Holder is an activist AG who sees the world in terms of race, more specifically, in terms of races in competition with each other rather than working and living harmoniously with each other. He has filled the Justice Department with far-left activists, like Thomas Perez, his chief operations hatchet man. As AG, Holder has worked to further divide Americans by race.

Perhaps, worst of all, he has diminished Americans' respect for the law by brazenly committing perjury before Congress with his constant denials about Fast and Furious. He and his operatives at DOJ have tried to protect themselves while throwing street agents of the ATF under the bus and assigning them the blame for this international fiasco called Fast and Furious.

And the cost of Fast and Furious as to lives? So far, we have two dead agents from Homeland Security, one wounded, and approxcimately 200-300 dead Mexicans killed by weapons connected to Fast and Furious. Finally, with the increasing pressure to resign as his credibility sinks to practically nothing, he pulls out the race card and implies that it's all about the fact that he and the man he is protecting, President Obama, are being hounded because they are both African-Americans.

So to Eric Holder, here is your Golden Penguin. It is richly deserved.

Ah yes, a fine choice. I could not have done better. Actually, when one thinks about it, Holder has done more to destroy the American justice system than anyone else in the history of the U.S.

Happy New Year Gary,

Dull, repetitious, unimaginative. You could have been much more entertaining than this.

The word jerk does not do it justice. How entertaining can you make such a depressing topic as E Holder?

TREASONOUS, Jerk.

But then there are so many to choose from In government.

Tough choice but I agree with your selection.

In a country where the two most powerful men are black, they still claim the country is racist and all their failings are because of racism directed against them.

They are race motivated and, in the process, have put back race relations back decades.

Too bad Idiot of the Year is the worse thing you can say about them. They have also ruined our economy and foreign policy. No small amount of damage.

An excellent choice but the term "Jerk" is inadequate at best. His overt racism, progressive socialist activism and best of all his broad spectrum illegality of purpose makes him more of a pimp without a whore of value.. which means the only ass he sells is his own.

Oh, if only he WAS a socialist. But, unfortunately, he is nowhere close. If you can't make a jerk of the year award entertaining, what's the point? It's not like this is going on Holder's resume or anything.

I stand corrected -again. It's Jerk of the Year, not Idiot of the Year. I've got to pay more attention to details in 2012.
