Latest reports are that ten people are dead and more than thirty injured in a fire allegedly set by a 40-year-old woman who authorities describe as "mentally ill". (Do I hear a dog whistle?)

Some French sources are identifying the woman only as Essia B., a common practice in Europe before a suspect is actually convicted. The suspect allegedly was motivated by a grudge she held against a neighbor who happened to be a fireman. She reportedly has previosuly been in a psychiatric hospital.
