SJP Never Gives Up

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)  is a despicable national student group that uses brown shirt tactics to deligitimize Israel on college campus. Their main tactic is to intimidate pro-Israel Jewish students on campus, a tactic that university administrators have turned a blind eye to. The UCLA chapter has been especially active in the past few months attempting to keep pro-Israel Jewish students off of the student government. Here is the latest from this week's Daily Bruin. Now they are attempting to submarine a student-regent delegate to the UC Board of Regents.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I would be highly surprised if student government candidates backed by the the SJP have not received funding from outside sources. I don't keep up with all the by-laws, but to me this is dirty politics.

The bottom line is that SJP and their allies never give up. If they lose a divestment vote against Israel, they just bring it back the following quarter or semester. This is what they do. It must get tiring for university students who don't even care about the issue one way or another.
