The Syrian community in the US is divided over which side deserves support in Syria. In several corners, there is support for the rebel faction. Aid charities are involved in sending food and medical supplies to refugees. That may be well and good, but I think the investigative agencies in our government should be keeping a very close eye on what form the anti-Assad movement in the US takes. In Europe, they are having the same problem and their investigative agencies are very concerned.
No doubt, Assad is an evil guy who deserves everything he gets. We are, of course, concerned over who takes power if Assad falls. We should also be concerned about how some Americans are choosing to involve themselves in that war.

If the FBI knows who is going to Syria to fight, they should be sure that they don't get back into the country.
