In a profession overflowing with radical nut jobs, University of Pennsylvania Religious Studies professor Anthea Butler stands out. This is the third time she has made the pages of this site with her outrageous comments.

Now in the wake of the Zimmerman trial verdict, she comes out and calls God "a white racist God".

What to say?
Far be it from me to call for Penn to fire this woman because free speech is free speech, and there are so many more where she comes from. All I can do is publicize the cancer that exists on our campuses, and hopefully, some parent thinking of sending his or her kid to these respective schools will change their mind and send the kiddies elsewhere. Maybe someday, academia will wake up and realize what they have deteriorated into. Only then can change come about.

It appears she wrote of god lower case, while Fox News and Fousesquawk made it upper case. There is a difference.
That said, its hard to understand what a touchy feely character spouting streams of off-the-cuff emotion has to teach anyone.
If academia doesn't see this already, they just don't want to see it.
Imagine! A college education used to be something respected and people aspired to achieve. Now (most) college graduates have useless degrees, can't find jobs because they have no real skills, and are deep in debt. The worst of it all is that they have undergone a left orientation that eventually will do the same thing to the country that the liberals have done to education.
