Swedish Cartoonist Attacked at Uppsala University

The last time I visited Sweden (in 1995), I had the chance to take a short trip to Uppsala and walk around the town and university. It was a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

That was then, and now is now.

On Tuesday, Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks was physically attacked as he was giving a talk at Uppsala University. The video and the article are below:

Did you notice the protester in the rear of the room who brought his daughter to witness this spectacle?

But never fear. The Swedish gendarmes, half of whom appeared to be women, were able to overcome the attackers and restore order.
