One of my new-found heroes, Nigel Farage, British representative to the European Parliament, was injured today in a light plane crash while campaigning in England. Fortunately, he and the pilot suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Farage has attracted the attention of this blog with his masterful verbal dismantlings of Europe's technocrats. He is a firece opponent of the EU.
