Yesterday, we posted a translated article about murders of women in Austria and the connection to recent immigration. Today, we are posting an article from Katerina Magasin, a Swedish blog, on the topic of violence against women in Sweden-and who is mostly responsible. It is a strong article and singles out a couple of prominent liberal female politicians for criticism. It accuses them of hypocrisy for just now speaking out about the problem of violence toward women in Sweden, but who also imply that it is Swedish men who are mostly responsible.

Below that article is an untranslated link to Pettersson's Blog on the same issue. What I have posted is a chart posted in 2018 showing the numbers of reported rapes in Sweden between 1975 and 2018. The increase is dramatic, from under 500 to over 7,000. It corresponds with massive immigration into Sweden of men from mostly Islamic countries.

Violence against women and girls in Sweden is increasing, and in recent weeks, 5 women have been murdered in Sweden. The politically correct politicians scream indignantly on social media and mainstream media that "men's" violence against women must stop. Again, it is "all" men who are meant. Preferably "white" men. But they refuse to acknowledge the fact: That violence and sexual assault against women are closely linked with mass immigration of men from outdated patriarchal cultures, where punishment with aggravated sexual assault, beating, torture, and death are part of the upholding of honor. Islam's sharia law mandates, for example, stoning of women as a punishment for unfaithfulness.  Public punishments such as whipping are mandated. To talk about Swedish men and Western values as a problem will never make women safe. Most importantly of all: The warped men of honor violence respectfully ignore the empty phrases of Swedish politicians. They will continue to beat, rape, and murder women, their own as well as Swedish. If the truth be told, it is the anxious pampering of these men that has created the abysmal problem in Sweden. It is this that our politicians are guilty of. 

Four of the five murders of women that have occurred in Sweden recently and awakened "ramaskri" ( I cite the word because it is a false game for the galleries) especially among female politicians like Annie Lööf and  Green Party's Märta Stenevi, have been committed by foreign men or men with immigrant background. But as usual Swedish boys and men are collectively blamed for these murders and politicians talk like we raised our sons wrong. I would like to see the Swedish mother or father who raises their little boy encouraging him to hit a girl! That may be one in a million. Not even one. Swedish boys are raised, rather, in non-violence. That fighting is wrong. To defend oneself is barely mentioned. Violence is always wrong! We do not hit our children either. We talk with them. Explain. Hitting girls and women is severely condemned. Sex must always happen with consent. A no is a no. Etcetera.

 This is in contrast to the culture that has been allowed to spread in Sweden and created more and larger exclusion zones where sharia law now rules. In these cultures, the woman is man's property. A girl who has sex before marriage is a whore and brings disgrace to the family. Family and man's honor lies in girls' and women's sexuality. If she violates this, the family is agreed that she should die. And yes, many times she is killed. She flies from a balcony, is pushed in front of a car, taken to her home country where she "disappears". She lives her life in dread and the threat of physical punishment.  Do you not understand that, Annie Lööf? Märta Stenevi? Gulan Avci? Ebba Busch? It is not Swedish boys and men who are raised that the family's honor resides in the girl's body and abdomen.  It isn't Swedish mothers and fathers who ask their sons to monitor their sisters. It isn't Swedish boys who shout, "I will f--- your mama."

 It is downright shameful to see female politicians virtue-signaling,  enough with men's violence against women.

 First of all, it is you, Annie Lööf and co., who have created a split, broken Sweden full of these male deviants who rape and murder girls and women (boys).

 For example, 90% of gang rapes are committed by men with a non-European background. A fourth of rapists who act in a group are Afghans. This is what a study from October 2017 shows.

Secondly: To blame increasing violence on Swedish boys and men is counter-productive. The real perpetrators escape being held accountable, and we avoid seriously discussing the values and norms that create violence. It is also deeply unfair and dishonest.

Thirdly, Men of honor violence ignore Swedish female politicians. Their words mean nothing.  In these men's eyes, Stenevi,   Lööf,  and the other whores do not need to be taken seriously. The Medieval patriarchy's disrespectful, aggressive men ignore Swedish law. It is honor and one's own creed which govern life. And they think that Sweden should adapt to them, not they adapt to Sweden.

Just look at many of the brutal murders and rapes that have occurred in Sweden in recent years. There are absolutely Swedish perpetrators, but they have always existed, and their crime is not supported by their families who are part of a system that will keep women on the mat. I don't believe there are any Swedish mothers whose son has killed a woman and who is proud of her offspring's crime. But in the honor cultures, the mothers cheer on their sons. It is a fact that many times, it is the mothers themselves who demand that their sons kill their sisters.

 Annie Lööf? Märta Steevi (sic- Stenevi) and others. Do you want us to take you seriously? Start talking about the connection between immigration and violence against women. Start talking about the foreigners' warped view of women. Start talking about honor violence. Start talking about (how) you permit sharia law. Then women can be safer in Sweden. Before that, you might just as well shut your pie-hole.

The conservative Austrian blog, Unzensuriert has an interesting article on the statistics as to murdered women in Austria. The conservative Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) is pointing out that most of the murders of women in Austria involve foreign perpetrators and victims. They particularly point out Muslim immigrants. 

I have read a similar report recently out of Sweden which I will dig up. Is this a trend in Western Europe? I'm guessing that it is.

FPÖ (Freedom Party of Austria) outcry against murder of women: The majority of perpetrators are foreigners-Violence is being imported!

Today, Wednesday, the FPÖ, in the course of a press conference on the murder of women in Austria, took a position and criticized the federal government's measures, which are fundamentally plagiarized. That is because when the FPÖ was in the government, these measures, in this regard, were set out, but not followed through on later, however. It was also pointed out that a good portion of the violence against women was being imported from abroad.

General Secretary Michael Schnedlitz recalled that the Black-Green (Coalition) had thematically plagiarized themselves. Measures such as an online Protection Against Violence summit and a campaign against violence against women had already been anchored in a Council of Ministers decision from December 9, 2020.

There was also a "Criminal Law Task Force" under the Black-Blue Government at the beginning of 2018, led by then-State Secretary Karoline Edstadtler (ÖVP-Austrian Peoples Party).  "Why hasn't the media since asked whatever happened to the implementation," Schnedlitz also wonders.

The General Secretary also maintains that under Kickl, the extension of the entry ban to include a ban on approaching was implemented through a decision of the National Council. And Schnedlitz also holds the Justice Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Women's Ministry as well as the Foreign Ministry responsible, that all the measures are awaiting implementation. 

For example, education for students was promised, an offer of advice against violence in the name of "honor", or also the assurance that women could access womens' shelters in other federal states. "The federal government has made announcements for years, but does not act. The ÖVP is the prototype for political sullenness. Women finally expect clear actions," says Schnedlitz.

With shock, FPÖ Womens' spokesperson Rosa Ecker cites the words of a woman murderer. "I have done nothing, just killed my wife." She enumerates this year's woman murders and states that 4 of the perpetrators were Austrian, 5 were migrants, especially Muslims. "It stands out that more than half of the perpetrators and victims are foreigners. The men who are born here have no problem with the (gender) role models that we live with," says Ecker. There are certainly problems with immigrants who want to establish an image of women based on the Islamic social circle. Violence is frequently imported.

Criticism over 210 million  euro advertising budget

Several proceedings of violence against partners have been dropped. The 210 million euros for (its own) advertising budget, which the federal government has at its disposal, would better be used for measures for the protection of women. More money is needed for new facilities and psychological support. "To react with tears is hypocrisy or a bad conscience,"  says Ecker. She recalls that FPÖ proposals against forced marriages or genital mutilations were voted down in the Parliament by the Black-Green (coalition).

"Many women have fear in their own homes, the tormentor lurks within their own four walls," says FPÖ family spokesperson Edith Mühlberghuber. And she also mentioned children in those families, who experience violence. In addition, the length of the "lockdown" against the Corona pandemic, and the resulting financial tensions, further sharpen the (propensity) of violence of many of the concerned people.

Just when you think you've seen it all in Sweden. In Attunda, north of Stockholm, about 20 masked men attacked a courtroom where a murder conspiracy trial was taking place. They used what appeared to be flash-bang devices which they threw at police.

The trial in question involved four defendants who had been planning to attack a children's party and commit murder.

A police-guarded murder trial in Attunda District Court north of Stockholm was exposed to a violent attack Thursday. Some 20 masked persons, armed with bomb-like pyrotechnics, attacked police.

About 9 in the morning, a gang of upwards of  20 masked young men, linked to the criminal gang groups, X-Team, Bandidos, and Bredängs Network, attacked the court building in Attunda with powerful bomb-like pyrotechnic pieces, so-called bangers. These were also thrown at police who were brought in to guard the trial and the reinforcements who arrived at the scene after the attack began.

About 10 of those involved were taken into custody by police. It is not clear if they were subsequently held in detention or released on the spot. Only after lunchtime did the police gain control of the situation.

The gang-related trial, where 4 men are accused of planning murder at a children's party, was earlier transferred from Södertörn's District Court due to similar violent incidents with some 80 people involved.

The Attunda District Court specifically has a security room. However, even in the new courtrooms, proceedings cannot be conducted in legal order.

The main proceeding consists of several trial days, of which this was one.

France: Woman Burned Alive Near Bordeaux

Today, France is dealing with yet another horrific killing, which has become all too commonplace in this country. On Wednesday, in the neighborhood of Merignac, a suburb of Bordeaux, a 31-year-old mother of three was shot and then burned alive by her husband on the street where they lived. The husband, identified only as Mounir B.,* had just been released from prison for a prior case of domestic abuse against the victim, identified only as Chahinez.

In the aftermath of the drama, astonishment and terror are still very much alive in this suburban quarter of Merignac. A woman age 31, mother of three children, is dead in the middle of the street after being burned alive by her companion. He had just come out of prison.

It is incomprehension in this suburban quarter of quiet reputation in Merignac. How could such a drama have happened? At 18:10 Tuesday evening, May 4, when the residents of Avenue Carnot heard cries and bangs.

"At first, we thought it was firecrackers," says a local resident. We thought the young people were having fun."

But very quickly, they realized the drama that was building up. According to the first elements, the 31-year-old woman manages to flee from the house, but she can't go very far, followed by her armed companion in the street 

"We passed him. He passed in front of us with a shotgun and some cartridges. We called the police. In the meantime, he set fire to the house."

According to the Bordeaux prosecutor's office, "two witnesses saw her fall to the ground". Her partner, armed, shot her once, then a second time. She (was) wounded in her thighs, laying on the street, but still breathing.

The 44-year-old individual, from whom she was officially separated, took a can from a van parked nearby, splashed his wife with a liquid, and set her on fire. The first responders could not save her. The family home, situated a few hundred meters from the scene, was discovered at the same time, partially burned and empty of occupants.

The perpetrator, who left the scene on foot, would be arrested by the services of BAC, without any injuries to police, a short time later, at 18:45 in the proximity of Avenue Leon-Blum, in the municipality of Pessac.

The prosecutor confirmed that the subject was heavily armed, carrying a 12 gauge rifle, a gas pistol, and a cartridge belt. After a preliminary investigation, it turns out that Mounir B. is unfavorably known to police and judicial authorities.

He had just left prison

His wife, Chahinez, was a battered woman. The marital violence, of which she was victim, was known in the neighborhood. According to the same resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, the police had come several times to the conjugal domicile.

There have been medical reports. The first time, we didn't understand, she had 75% of her larynx crushed, for me, there had already been an attempted murder.

Some neighbors claim that the respective families put pressure on the couple to live again under the same roof. The young woman reportedly agreed. The (neighbors) explain that the husband had returned to the house, a short time ago in spite of a prohibition to be in contact or to approach his wife, as ordered by the court. 

"She was very nice, very discreet. She would close the shutters when her (husband)  was shouting so that the neighbors didn't hear."

Already sentenced for violence against the victim

On 25 June, 2020, he had been sentenced by the correctional tribunal of Bordeaux as part of an immediate appearance for willful domestic violence (against) the same victim, to a punishment of 18 months, with 9 months of a probationary stay of two years with a detention order issued at the hearing.

They had one child together. The two others of the mother are from a first relationship. Ages 3, 7, and 11 years, were not at the residence at the time of the incident.

The two youngest are in child care, the oldest with a friend. They are under psychological care by SAMU. This Wednesday, a psychological unit is in place from 18:00 at the Burck Social and Cultural Center at Merignac for all those who wish to talk about this trauma. 

No telephone

Numerous questions remain to be answered. Had the danger to the victim not been properly evaluated when her companion came out of prison, sentenced for domestic violence? How could Mounir B. be able to return to the conjugal domicile despite the ban on approaching his wife? According to the Bordeaux prosecutor, Chahinez did not use her (emergency) phone, a telephone given to the victims of domestic violence that allows them to alert emergency responders rapidly using a single touch. Mounir B. was not wearing an electronic bracelet. 

An investigation is opened by the head of willful homicide and arson. It has been assigned to departmental security. Mounir B. is still being held in custody on Wednesday.

According to domestic violence victims defense associations, 38 women have been killed by their partner or ex-partner since January 2021. With the murder of this mother in Merignac, this is the 39th killing of a woman recorded in France this year.

If you think the American news media has reached the depths of absurdity when it comes to political correctness, look at Austria. Today's big news in Vienna is that a prisoner has escaped from jail and a massive search is underway. You would think that the media would be buzzing with a detailed description of the dangerous escapee on the loose. You know, be on the lookout for.........

An inmate of the Vienna-Simmering escaped while being taken to a medical appointment. Because he was suspected to be in a residential complex on Svetelskygasse, this (building) was searched, as the Justice Ministry and police confirmed corresponding media reports from "Austria" and "Heute" (Today). The man was not found there, however. The search continued into the evening.

Further details as to the man are not initially available. The search of the residential complex was carried out after reports were given that he ran there. He had been accompanied by guards to a (medical) treatment when he fled.

Big operation in Vienna-Simmering-Prisoner breaks out

In Simmering, a prisoner reportedly broke out on Tuesday afternoon. The Vienna police are in a big deployment.

"Heute" reporters report that on Tuesday around 15:30, on Svetelskygasse in Simmering, a large number of police are in deployment. "Both patrol cars and vehicles from the police station were on the scene," according to an eye-witness. The Vienna police were able to confirm the deployment to "Heute", further background was, for the time being, unclear.

As "Heute" has been able to learn, a prisoner at the Simmering penal institute was taken for medical treatment. Specifically, the prisoner was taken to a dentist for an acute toothache. On the way back to the vehicle, the man managed to break free from his guards and flee. Though reinforcements were immediately ordered, on Tuesday evening, the man was still being searched for.

From justice (sources), the wanted 29-year-old man is not considered a serious criminal and was to be released from custody in October. Exact information, for what crime the man was sentenced, is not yet available as of Tuesday evening.

Moon landing in Vienna-Favoriten. How the police moved out against a 65-year-old quarantine breaker.

Truly a serious case for the police. Yesterday, Monday, in Vienna-Favoriten, a 65-year-old Croat reportedly broke his quarantine obligation, and, in the same multi-family residence, went into the (home) of another resident, where he reportedly gained entrance illegally.

The alerted police, due to applicable corona regulations, called their colleagues from the standby unit "Corona Competence Team". 

With full gear, as if for a moon landing, the police officers landed on the quarantine breaker and finally arrested him for aggressive behavior.

Why simple when you can make it complicated?

One doesn't know whether to laugh or cry. Instead of sending 5 police officers, who, probably like 1/3 of the population, have Corona anti-bodies, a real moon landing was staged, which creates justified fear and deliberately keeps the fear level among the population very high.

In Italy, the Wave of Migrants Is Flowing Again

The photos and videos show that the overwhelming majority of migrants are men in their 20s. In the past 24 hours, approximately 1,000 have been picked up by NGO ships and delivered to  Lampedusa and other ports.

On April 21, three rubber boats carrying approximately 130 migrants capsized in the Mediterranean due to extremely choppy seas. The result was an outcry against the EU and the European border agency, Frontex, who were accused of not coming to the aid of the boats.

France: Group on Facebook Gives Support to Brutal Murderer of Sarah Halimi

We have been writing a lot recently about the outrageous legal case in France, in which a man named Kobili  Traoré was found not guilty by a French court of having murdered a Jewish woman named Sarah Halimi in Paris in 2017. The man broke into her apartment (she was a neighbor), beat her for an hour then threw her out of her third-floor window while shouting "Allahu Akhbar". The court determined that he was not responsible for his act because he had been smoking marijuana. In April, the French Supreme Court upheld that ruling. The killer is in a French psychiatric hospital. This past weekend, protests were held all over France and other places in Europe and the US.

It is "total indignation".  Many Internet users were shocked to discover on Facebook, a group entitled: Committee of support for Kobili Traoré, reported Le Parisien Sunday, May 2. The alleged suspect, Kobili Traoré, had been judged "legally not responsible due to acute delusional outbursts," connected to the use of cannabis, according to several psychiatric experts in court.

The Jewish community will not let it go

As Le Parisien reports, this support group reportedly appeared on Facebook on Abril 26 and only consists of 34 members. Nevertheless, the Jewish community has not taken it lightly. The attorney for BNVCA (National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism), Franck Serfati, warned, "As of tomorrow, I will lodge a complaint with the State Prosecutor of Paris." For him, it is a matter of "the most serious of injustices". "With this Facebook group. one wonders how one could support a criminal. How can one reverse the roles and pass him off as a victim?" he wondered in Le Parisien.

"It will not be difficult to identify the authors"

After the information from the daily, the Facebook page was visible until the beginning of the afternoon, Sunday May 2. In its place, it was possible to see a padlock accompanied by the following message, "This content is not available for the moment. This problem is generally due to the fact that the proprietor has shared it only with a small group of persons". For now, Frank Serfati, "is considering the qualification of the complaint, which will be filed May 3. The attorney envisions two options: Disputing a decision of justice and incitement to hate. "Without doubt, it will not be difficult to identify the authors of this page, the attorney warned.

 

Critical Race Theory and Why It's Wrong

 A very troubling trend in recent years has been what I can only describe as an attack on white people, especially on our university campuses. I am not talking so much as physical attacks (which do often occur in our cities) as I am about the attack on "whiteness". I put that word in quotes because if it has always technically existed as a word, it has not been part of our everyday lexicon.

Until now. 

The term whiteness essentially now means the entire white culture, the entire white identity, and, indeed, the entire white race, and it is used in a pejorative sense. I don't know who coined this new term, but I would bet the farm it was either a university professor or some activist whose term was picked up by a university professor and popularized. Suffice to say, the term has exploded on university campuses across the nation, and, as stated, in a pejorative way.

This is what a large part of Critical Race Theory is all about. This theory, which is also exploding on our campuses, teaches that America is an irredeemably racist country and that white people are inherently racist and privileged due to their "whiteness". It naturally follows that black and brown people are the downtrodden victims of white racism. Not just black and brown people, but "people of color", gay, lesbian, transgender, etc.

It may surprise you that many of the proponents of this theory of are white progressives, white university professors, and white activists in general. 

Of course, the objective of all this is to make sweeping changes to America.

Not only is this nonsense sweeping higher education as taught by our ethnic studies and gender, gay studies departments, but it is also now creeping into the secondary schools. Some states have managed to pass laws to keep this poison out of their educational systems. As we speak, California is on the verge of passing legislation that would mandate the teaching of this in schools. Under the proposed California version, there is also the teaching of our kids that Jews are simply categorized as whites (privileged whites, don't you know). Not only that, California school kids will be taught about all the horrible things the Jewish state of Israel does to the poor, downtrodden Palestinians. Never mind that we are facing a  true explosion of anti-Semitism and that Jewish students are facing rough times in school and university, they get no sympathy or support from Critical Race Theory beyond pointing out the Nazis and present-day white nationalists while ignoring Arab or Muslim anti-Semitism, not to mention anti-Semitism within some segments of the African-American community. Historically, Jews have gotten it from every direction, and that is still true today.

Under President Trump, the Department of Education tried to stop this toxic teaching, but under Biden, it will be given free rein.

So why is Critical Race Theory teaching bad if it condemns racism and teaches our kids that things like slavery and segregation, indeed, existed in our nation's history,  the teaching of neither of which I object to? Here's why. At a time when our nation is bitterly divided and our race relations are deteriorating, Critical Race Theory will only exacerbate the problem. As I write, there is news out of Stanford University this week that an African-American candidate for the student government was writing on her social media last year that she was hoping for the "eradication of whites". How sad. How scary.

Critical Race Theory is divisive, not only between blacks and whites but also between whites and other minorities. In addition, the California model, at least,  will further increase anti-Semitism in our schools, university campuses, and into our communities.

It is also wrong and inaccurate to teach that all white people are inherently privileged and racist.  Since the  Civil Rights era, we have had generations of white kids raised to believe that prejudice and racism are wrong. You literally have tens of millions of whites in this country who are supportive of equality and want to contribute to that ideal, but they are now being pushed away-especially on our college campuses, where white students are expected to be silent and listen to the voices of "students of color".

To be clear, I support the teaching of our children about slavery. I also support the teaching about President Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War that brought an end to slavery. I support the teaching of the history of segregation and Jim Crow. I also support the teaching of the Civil Rights movement, Martin Luther King, and the Civil Rights Act. If you want to teach that America, once upon a  time, was a racist country, I am on board with that because, in my view, it was a racist country-even during my childhood in the 1950s and 1960s.

But if you want to teach our kids that America is a racist country today, I am not on board because I don't believe America today is a racist country. (There is a difference between a racist country and a country with racial divisions.) If you want to teach about past systemic racism in the South, where discrimination and segregation once carried the force of state and local laws, I am fine with that because it was true. But America today is not systemically racist. Today, whites especially discriminate at their own legal risk. There are racists, sure, but they have no real power and represent only a fringe few. 

In addition, it should be obvious at this point that every group has its bigots including minorities. As one who follows anti-Semitism closely, I am not convinced that it is KKK-types and white nationalists who account for the majority of anti-Semitic incidents in this country.  And as one who taught at a major California university for 18 years, I refuse to believe that minorities are being discriminated against or treated badly by our universities. Quite the opposite is true. Today, there are two groups who are fair game on our university campuses.-Jews and whites in general.

What this essentially boils down to is that we have a growing number of leftist educators and activists who want to teach our non-white children that whites are their enemy and are trying to keep them down and keep them from achieving their goals and dreams in life. That is simply not true.

With the Democrats in control in Wahington, it is going to be up to the states to stop this toxic pedagogy from taking root.  

Rudy Giuliani in FBI Crosshairs

This week, the FBI and the Biden Justice Department carried out searches of Rudy Giuliani's home and office in New York City. Though no charges have been filed against Giuliani at this point, the allegation going out through the news media is that he is under investigation for his activities and relationships with Ukraine during the Trump presidency. Did Giuliani have business interests with Ukraine that crossed the line, and did he use his position as Trump's legal counsel to benefit himself or improperly benefit Trump politically using the Ukrainians?

Something like that.

I don't know the answer to those questions, and if Mr Giuliani violated the law in some manner, shame on him. It is my firm belief that the law is the law, and we should not make exceptions or turn a blind eye based on the political side the individual is on.

I also want to say that Rudy Giuliani has been a great public servant during his long career. I have never met him, but I did become familiar with who he was when I was a DEA agent, and he was the US Attorney in the Southern District of New York. I was never stationed in New York, but did have several occasions to go there on cases, testify, and work with that particular US Attorney's Office. As US Attorney, Mr Giuliani played a key role in prosecuting the Mafia for their involvement in heroin trafficking based on the work of  DEA and the FBI. Later, he became mayor of New York and did a fabulous job, in my view.

Say what you will about Giuliani's more recent political role with President Trump. Much of it comes down to which side of the fence you are on.

But I do find it ironic and curious that Giuliani is in the cross-hairs with the "new" FBI and the "new" DOJ, especially since it is over Ukraine. It doesn't require a great memory to recall the days of the Obama administration, when Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, was hired by a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, to sit on their board of directors and pull in some $50,000 a month though he had no expertise in energy or Ukraine. When the chief Ukrainian prosecutor launched a probe into Burisma and wanted to learn more about Hunter Biden's relationship with that firm, there was Vice President Joe Biden sitting in the office of the Ukrainian president, demanding that the prosecutor be fired if Ukraine wanted to get a billion dollars in aid from the US. Lo and behold, Old Joe's wish was granted within hours. How do we know all this? We have Old Joe bragging about it on tape in a 2018 speech. Of course, he left out all the parts about his prodigal son, Hunter.

So here we are. Ukraine shut down the Burisma investigation, Biden is now president, Hunter is giving a scholarly presentation to Tulane University on "fake news", while the FBI goes after Giuliani for his dealings-whatever they were- with Ukraine.

Apparently, one aspect of the Giuliani investigation is whether he improperly used his position to try and get dirt on Joe and/or Hunter Biden from a foreign country (Ukraine) for the 2020 campaign. I don't know the answer to that question either, but it reminds me of the 2016 campaign when Hillary Clinton, her campaign, and the DNC paid for a former British intelligence agent, Christopher Steele, to use his Russian contacts, real or imagined, to dig up dirt on candidate Donald Trump, Russian hookers and all that stuff. The FBI and DOJ used Steele's "dossier" as the basis for a FISA warrant against a low-level Trump campaign operative-even though they knew the information was unverified and the source (Steele) suspect. Has anybody gone to jail for all that? 

As I said before, nobody should be above the law, and I don't know whether Giuliani broke any laws or not. What I fear, however, is that we are weaponizing our criminal justice system to go after political enemies. If that is truly the intent of all this, we are on our way to becoming a banana republic.

France: Follow-up on the Jihadist Murderer of Rambouillet

A few days ago, we reported on the murder of a French policewoman in the city of Rambouillet at the hands of a Tunisian man who yelled, "Allahu Akhbar" in carrying out his attack slashing the throat of the poor woman as she entered her office at the police headquarters. The murderer, Jamel Gorchene, was shot dead by other officers. Now we learn that the killer received a residence permit to stay in France even after posting disturbing messages on his social media.

After the murder of Samuel Paty, the cut-throat of Rambouillet wrote on Facebook: "O Muslims, now we will respond to the insults from France". 2 months later, he obtained his residence permit.

Four months before the attack at Rambouillet, the Prefecture of Val-de-Marne had issued a residence permit to Jamel Gorchene, the murderer. Before awarding such a title, the services of the prefecture verify that the person doesn't constitute a "menace to public order". In his case, there had been no alert. This in spite of the troubling messages that he posted on Facebook.

How did the Prefecture of Val-de-Marne come to regularize an undocumented person who spread radical propaganda on social media?

Jamel Gorchene, this Tunisian national, who stabbed a policewoman to death at the police headquarters of Rambouillet (Yvelines) had been issued a temporary residence permit on 28 December 2020, well after the first alarming messages had surfaced on his online profiles. Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor, Jean-François Ricard, also emphasized: Since the fall, the attacker showed on his public Facebook account, "an adherence to an ideology legitimizing violence against those having offended the Prophet."

These messages, visible to all-Marianne gained access without difficulty- seem to bear witness. Beginning in April, 2020, he only posted prayers and Koranic verses, while closely following the radical sermons of Sheikh Ali-al Qaradawi, a 72-year-old Qatari close to the Muslim Brotherhood. A few days after the beheading of Samuel Paty, he justified future violence on social media. "O Muslims, now we will respond to the insults from France and Macron against our Prophet Mohammad."
