Germany: Cops Use "Overwhelming Force" in Antifa Demonstration

Munich's Marienplatz has not seen such a theater of the absurd since 1923 when Hitler led his mob through the square on their way to a rendezvous with destiny during their ill-fated Putsch attempt.

This week, Antifa held a demonstration on the famous square in front of the old Rathaus with banners proclaiming that the Right was not allowed in the city. (I didn't know Antifa had taken over the city reins.) An elderly disabled woman was offended and grabbed a poster out of the hands of one of the poor little Antifa boys. That's when the Polizei swooped in, and the next thing you know, about 6 of them were dragging the old lady off to who knows where-probably Munich's notorious Stadelheim prison.

In the below video, you can see the unfortunate woman being dragged away as another lady (who fled Communist Czechoslovakia) laments the present state of today's Germany.

CAIR's Next Hate Fest in LA

Last year, the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-Los Angeles chapter) held their 4th annual San Fernando (Valley) banquet/fund-raiser. Their featured speaker was Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the radical congresswoman who referred to 9-11 as, "somebody did something". Outside, there were protests and Yours Truly was there.

Notwithstanding the negative publicity  surrounding that event, CAIR's Los Angeles director, Hussam Ayloush, is doubling down on the hate. This year, another notorious anti-Semite, Linda Sarsour will be the featured speaker. It's all taking place March 21 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys. The theme is-get this- "Building Power-Overcoming Injustice".

With Sarsour, this promises to be yet another, anti-America, anti-Israel, anti-Jew hate fest disguised as fighting for justice (in the freest country on earth, no less). Make no mistake: CAIR is not the civil rights organization it purports to be. It is aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and other organizations dedicated to the destruction of Israel as well as the imposition of Islam in the US. Ayloush told a questioner in 2013 that CAIR didn't involve itself in Middle Eastern affairs, a bald-faced lie given his own anti-Israel activism. Most recently (in May), he was a featured speaker at the annual Muslim Student Union/Students for Justice in Palestine Israel-bashing week of events at UC Irvine. On this occasion, he refused to answer questions about his past anti-Jewish statements.

Omar, Sarsour, Ayloush: They are all part of the same swamp.

Netherlands: Asylum-Seekers Intimidate Bus Riders

This is becoming a regular problem in the Netherlands. Young asylum-seekers, who are living in asylum-seeker centers, are causing lots of problems on local buses. We have already reported on this issue before. Here is what is going on in the Nijmegan area. Translation by Fousesquawk. Nuisance Asylum-Seekers: Security on Bus Grave-Nijmegen

Grave/Nijmegen- A group of asylum-seekers has for weeks been causing inconvenience  on busline 99 from Uden to Nijemegen. Bus operator Connexxion has security ride on the bus because drivers are harassed and intimidated

Currently, the problem mainly concerns the route between the Grave bus station and Nijmegen, says spokesman Anton Masteling of the Central Agency for Reception of Asylum-Seekers (COA). "It concerns a group of some 25 people. From 8 of them we know that they come from the asylum-seeker center in Grave." The origin of the other troublemakers is not yet known.

The nuisance mainly consists of not wanting to pay for a bus ticket or verbal and intimidating aggressive behavior against drivers. "Lately, it has been somewhat quieter in Grave," says Masteling. "However, it is possible that the problem will move to some other place."

Hopeless Asylum-Seekers from Safe Countries

The Brabant state party of the PVV has asked questions about the problem on the busline between Uden to Nijemegen. According to the party, it concerns "hopeless asylum-seekers from safe countries who are terrorizing the bus drivers." Masteling says on behalf of COA that he currently can make no comment about this. "There is consultation with all parties and with the police. If Connexxion makes a statement, prosecution can be institute with the camera images." 

It is unknown if there is a connection between this group causing nuisance on the bus and the group of young asylum-seekers from safe countries who were (involved) in robberies in the last two months in Nijmegen. There were 64 reports in two months of pickpockets committing thefts in the city center. During their robberies, the young robbers mostly hit train travelers  and the public.

Blow Up Graf??

Like me, anyone who has served in the Army in Germany is no doubt familiar with Grafenwöhr ("Graf"), the huge training base for the US Military in Bavaria near the Czech border. As an MP, I had to go there a couple of times a year to support the 4th Armored Division when they went on field manoeuvres. I hated the place with a passion.

Grafenwöhr (the name of the adjacent village) was originally a training ground for the old Kingdom of Bavaria army. Later, during World War II, it was where Rommel's Panzer Korps was trained. The US Army took it over after WW II.

So now it is reported that an unknown Jordanian guy is walking around Germany plotting to blow up Graf and other US Army sites. Of course, that would be no easy task since Graf is huge, wide-spread. It has its basic base facilities, but the rest consists of tank trails, artillery ranges, and other wide-open spaces.

Of course, trying to find one Jordanian guy in Germany among the millions of Angela's kids roaming around the country is no easy task. I suggest they assign Angela Merkel the job of finding the guy.



Maybe that's him.

George Stephanopoulos Caught on Camera Trying to "Kill" Sekulow Interview

Whatever the left might think of Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow, they recognize that he is a very smart and very well-spoken man. Sekulov, who is defending Trump in the impeachment hearings, is the chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, which has been enormously successful in getting Obama-era documents ordered released by the courts. Sekulow has argued many times before the Supreme Court and is a Constitutional expert.

So after he came out of the impeachment hearings yesterday to talk to reporters, he, in his typical fashion, explained the President's case to  reporters very effectively. So effectively that ABC's political hack-turned talking head, George Stephanopoulos, decided they needed to cut away from the interview. Thus, George was caught on camera giving the classic "kill it" sign.



It may be funny in a  sense, but in another sense, it isn't so funny. It points to the basic dishonesty of our liberal news media. No doubt, George and ABC will come up with an explanation for this-that he really needed the time to get to his panel of experts etc, etc. But do you really think George would have cut it off had the speaker been some inarticulate clown stumbling around trying to defend Trump, someone saying something the media could claim was full of lies? I don't think so.

This should be seen as a classic example of how the media tries to mould public opinion-not only by what they say and what they show and report, but by what they try to shield from the public view.

Matteo Salvini Leads the Fight Against Anti-Semitism in Italy

This past week, I translated a video of ex-Italian Interior Minister, Matteo Salvini, speaking in Rome on January 16. The topic was anti-Semitism, and the occasion was a one-day conference he and his Lega Party had called. Aside from Salvini, the Israeli ambassador to Italy also spoke as well as others. The video of Salvini's 11-minute talk was posted -now with English sub-tiltes.

Having lived in Italy for five years, I follow the sad events there regarding the invasion of mostly African migrants coming by boat across the Mediterranean. As interior minister, Salvini ordered the ports closed to NGO ships, mostly flying other nations' flags, who pick the migrants up at sea off the coast of Libya and bring them to Italian ports. Salvini's stance put him in opposition to the EU, Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, and the Italian courts. He actually may be prosecuted for "kidnapping" in Sicily since he is out out of government, and the Italian Parliament has lifted his Parliamentary immunity.

Salvini, much like Donald Trump (whom he idolizes) is a controversial figure, wildly loved in Italy, but also hated by many of the left. His party, La Lega (the League), formally the Northern League, was originally formed to resist the finacial burden carried by northern Italy in order to support the poorer south. That earned it charges of racism, charges which persist to this day, but in a different manner since the Lega has now turned its attention to the mass migration of people from Africa and the Middle East and the resultant crime wave it has produced, both in Italy and other parts of Western Europe. Much like Trump. Salvini is blunt and minces no words in his criticism of other politicians, the EU, the Euro, and other European leaders like Merkel and Macron. He is a man of action who is not afraid to put his life and liberty at risk.

Salvini, who is now out of government but campaigning for his party in this year's elections, may still become the next prime minister of Italy, now led by a weak and feckless coalition with Giuseppe Conte as prime minister. It was Conte who, in a parliamentary move with the Cinque Stelle (Five Stars) party, forced Salvini out of office earlier this year. Wherever Salvini goes, he draws huge and enthusiastic crowds.

So now it is this man, despised and called a racist (unfairly) by so many in Europe, who is taking the bull by the horns and leading the fight against anti-Semitism in Europe. Salvini is a friend to Israel and Benyamin Netanyahu. Now he is working to get the Italian Parliament to endorse the definition of anti-Semitism as laid out by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. One key point is that opposition to the right of Jews to self-determination in their own homeland is anti-Semitism. Thus, it would single out people and organizations who work for the destruction of the Jewish state, which would, of course, include the Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement against Israel.

Salvini puts the Merkels, Macrons and Contes to shame because the question should be asked, "Where are the Merkels, Macrons and Contes?' They are too busy trying to repress the right and bring in more and more migrants from mostly Muslim majority countries. Currently, the ports are once again open in Italy with more European nations agreeing to accept a share of the migrants.That spells more danger for European Jews, who are targeted daily by Jew-hating Muslims on European streets. As a result, Jews are leaving Europe by the thousands. Like our own president in the US, Salvini is leading the way when it comes to stopping anti-Semitism as so-called liberals, who are always talking about human rights for other groups, remain largely silent. It will be to Europe's lasting disgrace, especially after having experienced the Holocaust in the past century, if it becomes "Judenrein" because Jews can no longer live there.

Salvini's speech is eloquent-in his own style- and is well worth a listen. It can only be hoped that he becomes Italy's next prime minister.

Sylvia Garcia Defends Joe Biden in Impeachment Hearings

Today, Sylvia Garcia (D-TX), one of the House managers presenting the impeachment case to the Senate, went into great detail in defending Joe Biden and his son Hunter in the Burisma-Ukraine issue.

It was President Trump's phone call to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy last July 25 that forms the basis of this impeachment. President Trump asked President Zelenskyy to investigate the alleged Ukrainian meddling in the 2016 election, mentioning Crowdstrike, and also asked him to look into the Biden issue involving the firing of the prosecutor (Viktor Shokin), who was investigating Burisma, which had put Hunter Biden on its board of direetors for no discernible reason. (Well, there was one obvious reason).

Given the famous video of Joe Biden bragging to the Council on Foreign Affairs that he had gotten Shokin fired while visiting Ukraine as vice president, the obvious conclusion is that Biden was acting to protect his son.

Not so, argued Rep. Garcia. Shokin was considered corrupt, and people in the US Congress and other international bodies were complaining to Ukraine about him. Garcia argued that Biden was merely carrying out the wishes of the US government in demanding Shokin's firing,

As for Biden's son being on the Burisma board of directors, which was under investigation for corrupt practices at the time by Shokin? Just a coincidence. (My words, not hers)

I don't buy that for a minute, but even if true, Biden should have had the sense to recuse himself from such a task due to the obvious appearance of a conflict of interest. But even that is giving Biden the benefit of the doubt.

Garcia also argued that nobody in Ukraine or anywhere else had alleged any corrupt, illegal or improper actions by Hunter Biden during the time he was serving on Burisma's board. That may be so, but it is irrelevant. What is important is the mere fact that he was on the board itself. Hunter Biden has no experience in energy, Ukrainian matters, or any other field that might justify him being on the board. The younger Biden was receiving a salary from Burisma that was $50,000 a month or $80,000 a month depending on your source. Let's be real: Hunter Biden was sitting on that board (likely doing nothing-proper or improper) and getting a huge salary because he was the son of the Vice President of the United States.

It's called influence peddling.

Garcia went on to discuss the Crowdstrike story, which involved Ukrainian interests coming into possession of hacked Democrat emails and acting against the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. Garcia argued that it had been conclusively proven that it was the Russians who got those emails not Ukrainians.

That may be so. Trump's defenders are not disputing the fact that Russians meddled in the 2016 election to the detriment of Clinton. The important point-the final conclusion of the Mueller investigation- is that neither Trump nor his campaign were involved or colluded with the Russians.

But was there Ukrainian meddling as well-meddling that was to Trump's detriment? Did not Alexandra Chalupa, a  DNC operative, go to the Ukrainian embassy in Washington and ask officials to dig into Trump's associates in Ukraine, specifically Paul Manafort? Mr Manafort was investigated and successfully prosecuted for his shady business dealings with Ukraine, which took place  before he briefly became Trump's campaign manager. The Kiev District Court itself said that there was Ukrainian meddling in our election by those who leaked information about Manafort's dealings. And finally, did not the then-Ukrainian ambassador write an op-ed in the Hill severely criticizing candidate Trump for comments he made relative to the Ukraine-Russia conflict?

Rep. Garcia has not only tried to explain the inexplicable and defend the indefensible. She tried to tell us that there is no elephant in the back of the room. (Biden's action in getting Shokin fired). She may have opened up a can of worms. It is my opinion that when the Republicans put on their defense, they should address Garcia's claims. I have been saying for a long time that the Republicans are not talking enough about what Joe Biden (the supposed victim) did. I say let them respond to Garcia's claims. Make Joe Biden the centerpiece of the defense. Let the TV viewers see for themselves what Biden did, how he bragged about it on video, and let the public decide as to why he did it.

In my view, there was Russian meddling and Ukrainian meddling, the latter probably being much less sophisticated. The Mueller investigation has already established that neither Trump nor his campaign were involved. However, the actions of Ms Chalupa, a DNC operative, suggest that if there was Ukrainian meddling, there was Democrat collusion with that meddling.

The fact is that Trump was within his presidential rights to ask his counterpart in Ukraine to investigate these allegations even if some might prove unfounded. But even if you think Trump's motives were personal and political (which I don't completely discount though I don't think it will be proven), the public should ask: Which is worse- Biden getting the prosecutor fired to protect his son's interests, or Trump asking the Ukrainians to investigate it?

Rep Garcia has made her assertions trying to defend Biden. She has opened the door, and the Republicans should march right through it.

Swedish "Citizen" Arrested in Barcelona for Two Murders

Earlier this week, reports out of Barcelona informed us that, on Monday, January 20,  a "foreigner" had stabbed two people to death and critically injured another before being subdued by police. (The death toll is now at three.)

Now the Swedish media is following the case because the attacker reportedly holds Swedish citizenship. He is approximately 30 years old and reportedly from Malmo. According to the above Swedish news video (using footage from Spanish news sources). The suspect first allegedly killed someone inside an apartment, set it on fire, jumped from the balcony onto the street, then continued on his stabbing spree. He is as yet, unidentified and being held without bail.

What Happened Last Night in Sweden (Two Bombs Go Off in Stockholm)

Angela Merkel Gets Grilled in the Reichstag

German chancellor Angela Merkel found herself on the hot seat this week when she was asked by Gottfried Curio of the Alternativ fuer Deutschland party about a murder case in Augsburg and the general situation overall in Germany as to the wave of migrants arriving since 2015. Her answers are weak to say the least. In response to the question about the murder in Augsburg, she talks about all the efforts they are making to fight right-wing extremism. That drew laughter from the audience. (The suspect in the Augsburg case is a second generation Muslim immigrant.)
