Six Israelis Arrested in Death of Palestinian Teen

The Israeli police have announced the arrests of six Jewish men for the murder of a Palestinian teenager in Jerusalem this past week.

This was an specially horrific murder in that an autopsy indicated that the boy was burned alive.

There is no way to condone this vicious act against an innocent youth. It is suspected that the murder was carried out in retaliation for the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers the previous week. That is no justification.

However it does demonstrate that Israel has a system of justice designed to deal with these  crimes-quite unlike their Palestinian counterparts. Israel has charged Hamas with being involved in the killings of the three Israelis and the two suspected killers are still at large.

The Hypocrisy of the Presbyterian Church USA

Robert Kaufman is a professor at Pepperdine University and contributing columnist for the Orange County Register. In today's op-ed, he not only takes the Presbyterian Church USA to task for their recent divestment vote against Israel, but brings out a fact I had not been aware of. They also voted down a resolution that would have expressed solidarity with  persecuted Christians in Islamic countries.

French Kindergarten Teacher Stabbed to Death in Classroom

This week, a 34-year-old kindergarten teacher was stabbed to death in her classroom in front of her pupils in France. The accused killer is a 47-year-old mother of one of the children and is identified only as "Rachida".

The French press is only saying that the woman was known to have psychological issues. The French blog Gallia Watch is updating this story. According to GW, the French press and authorities do not identify defendants by name when they are foreigners.

Nonie Darwish Speaks in Silicon Valley

Nonie Darwish, an Egyptian-born apostate from Islam, writer, speaker and activist, is one of those people I am proud to know, albeit not well. In this video, she speaks before the Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley (I didn't know they had conservatives in Silicon Valley.) on June 3. The video below is via C-Span and was sent to me by Darwish.

In this video, Darwish speaks on the topic, "Islam and the West". She discusses a wide range of issues such as women's rights under Islam, sharia law, Islamic conquests of various nations in history, Muslim attitudes toward non-Muslims, and apostasy. (She is unable to return to her native Egypt due to a fatwa calling for her killing. In fact, as she points out in her presentation, the only country in the Middle East she can visit is Israel!)

 This video lasts over an hour but is well worth the time.

When I was a young buck stationed in Germany with the US Army in the 1960s, most German women did not shave their armpits.  It was something one just had to get used to if you going to continue chasing women or wait until you got back Stateside. It was also common in Italy in the 1980s.

So Ladies of ASU, take it from a guy who knows about these things. It's a lousy idea, and you got a lousy professor.

One of the stories buried in the media during the World Cup (unless you live in France) is the out of control behavior of the Algerian soccer fans as their team progressed through the World Cup to the round of 16. Not that soccer riots are uncommon. I have personally seen one in Italy, and the Brits are famous for their soccer hooligans. This year it is the Algerians, mostly in France, who have taken center stage.

Below from Gallia Watch is a June 26 video of the reaction when Algeria tied Russia. The man in the video repeats several times. "France is ours!".

The French blog Francois Desouche has complied a list of incidents that took place in cities all across France when Algeria was knocked out by Germany. The list is in French, but I can tell you that it consists of fires set, cars burned, projectiles thrown at police, and other random acts of kindness, er violence.

Border Described as a Tsunami

That's the situation on our southern border as Central American families and children continue to show up spurred on by the belief that President Obama has laid out the welcoming mat for them. Todd Starnes of Fox news has the report.

Meanwhile protests and counter protests continue at the Murrietta (Ca) Border Patrol station north of San Diego, where immigrants are being taken for processing. There is a lot of screaming back and forth on both sides. I would hope that the protests could be done in a civil manner. While I sympathize with the anti-illegal immigration demonstrators, you know that the media is going to do whatever they can to paint them as racists. Be civil and emphasize the rule of law.

And don't forget to vote in November. This mess is Obama's making as well as his party.

Believe it or not, the terror group Hamas has a newspaper in Gaza. If you want an example of how their journalists are treating the latest crisis in Israel, read no further than the below link below which is exposed by MEMRI. Even before we know the identity of the killers of the Arab teenager, this writer is comparing it to the well-known canard about Jews using the blood of non-Jewish children to make matzo. Of course in this case, the writer believes it.

Demonstration in Canada Gets Ugly

Yesterday, the Jewish Defense League (JDL)  in Mississauga, Canada (Greater Toronto) conducted a peaceful protest in front of the Palestine House to mark the killings of three Israeli teenagers. Result? The Arabs went nuts.

It seems inconceivable that no arrests of any of the Arabs were made given the abuse, both physical and verbal they heaped upon the cops. One of the JDL guys was knocked to the ground and injured.

Tamarlan Tsarnaev and the Black Flag of Jihad

Surprise! ABC News is running a story on Tamarlan Tsranaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombers, who posed in front of the black flag of jihad at what is identified only as a mosque. Also present in the picture reportedly is Khairullozhon Matanov, currently scheduled to be tried on charges of destruction of evidence in the bombing case. Atlas Shrugs has picked up the story which I am cross-posting from that site.  It strikes me as surprising that a mainstream news organization (other than Fox) would run story like this suggesting that such a flag would be displayed in an American mosque and pointing out the terrorists who have been associated with the Islamic Society of Boston (Roxbury) and its sister mosque in Cambridge, where the Tsarnaev's worshiped. The only thing they missed was that Yusuf al Qaradawi was on the board of directors of the Roxbury mosque.

Aside from the fact that Matanov is now linked to jihadist thinking, it is also important to know where that picture was taken. The fact that Tsarnaev is in the picture is of no importance. He is dead, and we already know what his thinking was as evidenced by his crimes. It is important to note that this flag is used by jihadist fighters everywhere. It can be seen in the background of those hideous beheadings carried out by these 7th century barbarians. Any mosque that would allow that flag on its premises is a mosque that the FBI should be all over (like white on rice as they say).

Another Hillary Howler

If I were one of Hillary Clinton's political advisers, I would tell her to take a year's vacation and disappear from the public spotlight. In which case, I would promptly be fired. That is something Clinton cannot do as she continues her mad dash for the White House. Yet it seems every time she opens her mouth she steps in it. Yet she plugs along oblivious to the fact that nobody is buying her book except for the usual sycophants who show up for her book signings.
