It looks like the person who will take the heat for this fiasco is Linda Douglass, formerly a reporter for ABC News, who is now director of the White House Health Reform Office (I'll bet you didn't know the White House had a health reform office, did you?) In other words, she went from one propaganda ministry to another.

So there it is, folks. You'd better draw down your curtains at night and watch who you are sending e-mails to. And lower the radio as you listen to Radio Free America or Rush Limbaugh so that your next-door neighbor doesn't hear. That's because somewhere deep in the bowels of the White House, people like Linda Douglass and maybe even Craig Livingstone are putting all this info into their computer
data base. (They're keeping a list and checking it twice.)

And all you Nazi storm troopers that have been marching to the town hall meetings carrying those swastika flags, Nancy Pelosi is onto to you too. She knows you are out there.


There go some of them now, Nancy-off to another town hall meeting.

In addition, he operates a clandestine publication called Fousesquawk, which spreads false propaganda about the health care plan. I'm not sure, but I think he runs it from a room in his house. I have seen a lower-floor room with the lights on late into the night.

Carefully scrutinize the faces of these savage "thugs". Then watch as Rep. Edwards narrowly escapes with his life.

I tell ya, it's time to call out the National Guard.

In this snippet, Congressmen Mike Ross and Vic Snyder, two "blue dog" Democrats go before a town hall meeting in Little Rock. When Snyder tells the crowd that President Obama does not want a single-payer system for health care, the audience is less than convinced. (It's about 1:28 seconds into the tape.)

Kudos to the blog, "And so it goes in Shreveport" for this video of an AARP "listening session" as they labeled it August 4 in Dallas. Listen and watch as the speaker describes it as a "listening session" where they want to hear what the audience has to say. Then, as soon as they realize that the audience is not in agreement with the AARP agenda, they shut it down, pull the plug and walk out leaving the audience to conduct its own meeting.

This should not come as any surprise. The AARP is a liberal advocacy group that supports the Obama health care plan.

DNC Calls in the Muscle

It looks like the Democrats are taking my sarcastic suggestion from a recent posting to heart. To counter the "disrespectful" citizens at the town hall meetings, they needed to call in some private security. I suggested the New Black Panther Party, you know, like the thugs that showed up in front of a Philadelphia polling place in the last election-the same ones that Eric Holder's Justice Department dropped charges on. That may yet come to pass. Yesterday, however, the DNC announced that they are going to counter the protesters with their own supporters; to begin with, the unions.

Yes, the AFL-CI0 has already agreed to provide some muscle at town hall meetings on behalf of their Democratic servants. We already know that ACORN has sent in supporters to some of the meetings.

So now, if you plan to go and ask some hard questions of your Democratic representative, get ready to meet Vinnie and Sluggo. (They'll be the beefy guys with baseball bats.)

History has shown us how the union boys act at any heated or contested event. Tires get slashed, windows get broken, people are intimidated, and sometimes, heads are busted. And now, the union boys are confirming what we have always known; that the unions and the Democratic Party are solidly in bed with each other.

How long will it be until the New Black Panther Party starts showing up to stand by the doors, billy clubs in hand, glowering at people and making threats-with impunity from Eric Holder's Justice Department?

In addition, start looking for those undercover operatives from the Justice Department and Homeland Security, walking through the crowds, mingling and trying to identify those "dangerous right wing radicals and military vets" that Janet Napolitano warned us about a few months ago. I have already noticed several older men wearing baseball hats bearing military unit insignia. They will surely be a prime target.

It would be OK if the Democrats asked their own voting supporters to show up, fly the colors and show support. The fact that they have reached out to a specific entity-the unions-with their long history of intimidation tactics, demonstrates the utter corruption of the Democratic Party.

Add Steny Hoyer to the list of Democratic empty suits who have now been spanked by the folks. Today, Hoyer (D-MD), who is the chief horseholder to Nancy Pelosi, was given the what for by yet another one of those "angry Republican mobs", this time in Utica, NY, as he tried to sell them the Obama health care plan. Watch and listen as he talks down to his audience as if they are a bunch of rubes. When they told Hoyer what they thought of it, he started talking about the Erie Canal!!!!




And this guy is one of the big-shots in the House of Representatives!!

News item: Today, the Democratic National Committee came out with an ad calling the folks who have given a hard time to Dems at the town hall meetings, "angry Republican mobs". So for the benefit of the DNC, here is a little exercise in identifying "angry mobs".

What's So Great About Princeton? Not Professor Peter Singer

My whole life, I was always told that the elite universities in the nation were the so-called Ivy League universities. Let's see, that would be Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Colgate, Brown, Dartmouth, Princeton, and if I am not mistaken, the University of Pennsylvania. Did I get them all right? Yet, for as long as I can remember, there has been a litany of embarrassments associated with virtually all of these institutions from wacky, radical professors, to student disruptions, to you name it. Let's take Princeton, for example and look at one of their "esteemed professors", Peter Singer.

Peter Singer is a philosopher from Australia. He is also a professor of bio-ethics at Princeton. His philosophy revolves around approaching ethics from a utilitarian perspective. Of particular note is Singer's ideas about animal liberation, abortion, euthanasia and infanticide.

Singer's ideas are, to say the least, convoluted, but in simple terms, he seems to believe that different levels of life are worthy depending on their capacity to have personal interests and life journey goals. In the case of abortion, that means that a fetus is incapable of having personal interests and life journal goals. The same is also true of a newborn baby. Thus, the wrongness of taking a life is measured by the degree that it would interfere with the person's goals.

Singer has written a book, "Rethinking Life and Death", in which he states that it is impossible to determine exactly when human life begins. Abortion is justified, according to Singer because the fetus-or for that matter, the newly-born is incapable of having life goals or personal interests. According to Singer, newborns lack the essential characteristics of personhood- "rationality, autonomy and self-consciousness". Thus, according to Professor Singer, "killing a newborn baby is never equivalent to killing a person, that is, a being who wants to go on living."

In "Rethinking Life and Death", Singer writes..."the fact that a being is human and alive does not in itself tell us whether it is wrong to take that being's life."

Not surprisingly, Singer has advocated for health care rationing in the case of the sick and elderly in reference to the controversy in the Obama plan.

It may bear mentioning that Singer is the son of Viennese Jews who emigrated from Austria to Australia in 1938. His grandparents, however, perished in the Holocaust. I mention that only to ponder why he would develop such attitudes about "the worthiness of life" given his family history.

But that's not all. Professor Peters has also weighed in on having sex with animals. In a 2001 review of a book on bestiality ("Dearest Pet: On Bestiality" by Midas Dekker), Singer said that sex between humans and animals should remain illegal if it results in harm to the animal, but that "sex with an animal does not always involve cruelty". Thus, mutually satisfying activities are just fine and dandy.

If Professor Singer happens to read this and would like to correct me on any points, I would be happy to "correct the record". However, I am merely using his own words.

Of course, there are so many wacky professors out there, I could go on all day listing them. This particular learned professor has a right to his opinions and to express them. I am not saying that Princeton should fire Professor Singer. However, I do think it is something to keep in mind the next time someone tells you what a great university Princeton is.

Dems (and Media) Now Crying Over Town Hall Events

Yesterday, Democratic Congressman Frank Kratovil (MD) spent the day getting hammered by his constituents at town hall meetings as he tried to defend Obamacare. Many of these Dems are whining about the treatment they are getting. Of course, they can always find a sympathetic sounding board in the media.

Barbara Boxer now has come out publicly and calling the town hall events an orchestrated campaign of disruption by the Republicans. Here she is below on "Hardball" sharing her "pearls of wisdom" with the ever-subservient Chris Matthews murmuring, "yeh" in the background:



Today, the DNC came out with a pathetic ad referring to the town hall attendees as "angry republican mobs".

In addition, Congressman Lloyd Doggett, who I wrote about yesterday, is making the rounds of liberal talk shows to denounce the people who came to his town hall meeting and hammered him. After singing the blues on Rick Sanchez's "news" program on CNN, he appeared on MSNBC with Rachel Maddow, who referred to the attendees at the meetings as "thugs". With Maddow, Doggett opened up with a slam at the "just say no" Republicans who showed up at his town hall meeting in South Austin, Texas and gave him the what for.

How about those, "just say no" independents, like me, Congressman Doggett?

These are the people we have elected to lead us. People who think that a town hall meeting is for them to go and tell us what they want us to hear-without being challenged. Let me be clear. I don't believe in disruption. I say let the speaker say his/her piece and then give it to him/her in the Q&A. The point is, however, that a town hall meeting is not a formal speech or lecture. It is give and take, and the Dems are discovering that this health care plan is not wanted by the folks.

Yet, these Democratic whiners are receiving not unexpected help from their allies in the media-especially the folks at CNN and MSNBC- who are echoing the charge. So that is how the battle lines are being formed. It is the Dems and the news media (except Fox, of course) vs the folks. When everyday people, mostly middle-aged and elderly-for once in a blue moon-turn out to voice their anger, they are referred to as "organized thugs". I remember the incident in Florida that Boxer was referring to in 2000, in which a group of Republicans was protesting the local election board's attempt to count the votes in a back room. The Democrats and media were literally calling for the National Guard.

As for CNN's Rick Sanchez, this guy is nothing but a dishonest propagandist. In his segment with Doggett, he showed film clips not so cleverly edited in a pathetic attempt to show that demonstrators "chased" Doggett away from the scene of his scheduled meeting, which is false.

But here is my suggestion for the Democratic Party. They need to bring in private security to keep these folks in line. How about......


The New Black Panther Party-since they are so adept at that sort of thing.

More Democrat Town Hall Meetings-Orchestrated Conspiracy?

Here are film clips of two more appearances of Democratic Congressmen at town hall meetings to defend the Obama health care plan and the reception they got.

First is Congressman Lloyd Doggett of Texas appearing August 1 in South Austin.


Next is Congressman Steve Kagen August 4 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.



Today, Doggit appeared on CNN with afternoon anchor Rick Sanchez (whose show is chock full of liberal bias masquerading as a news show). In their conversation, the theme was that these turnouts by angry citizens are nothing more than an orchestrated campaign of disruption by Republicans and the insurance companies.

That view is backed up by DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse:

"The Republicans and their allied groups - desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill - are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country."

Sanchez, in his segment with Doggett, suggested that there is a "pattern" that he detects in these meetings. His segment was entitled, "The politics of chaos".

So for you folks who have turned out to these town hall meetings and confronted your congressperson, that is what the Democrats think of you.

That is the tactic of the Democrats and their lackies in the media. The people who come out to voice their opinions at town hall forums are professional disruptors acting on behalf of the Republicans and the evil insurance companies.

I invite the viewer to check out the people in these crowds. These are not your usual long-haired lefties, anarchists, Marxists and university students. These are common, everyday folks, older folks who have legitimate concerns. Isn't it strange that every 25 or 30 years when everyday, conservative folks turn out to protest (within the bounds of the law), the Dems want to call out the National Guard?

And while we are demonizing the insurance companies, let's not forget that they are the ones who stand to go out of business if this health care plan passes. Is it any surprise if they oppose it?

How cheap of these hack politicians that they can't go before their constituents and take some heat without calling it some kind of conspiracy!
