About a week ago, I heard through the grapevine that the Rutgers chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (New Brunswick campus) was going to be suspended beginning the fall quarter. That is in fact the case. The campus newspaper, The Daily Targum, is reporting that the suspension will run to July 4, 2025. It appears that, as yet, SJP has made no response. I am sure one is forthcoming that will go something like this:
This is another piece of encouraging news, but this suspension should be permanent and apply to every campus in the country.
