This week, I posted a blistering article about Columbia University on the resignation of a Jewish philanthropist from the School of Business Board. Perhaps, just perhaps, this finally got the message through to Columbia-the resignation, certainly not my humble posting.
Columbia has suspended the campus chapters of the odious Students for Justice in Palestine and the equally odious and improperly named Jewish Voice for Peace (an arm of the pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel movement).
The suspension is only good for the remainder of the current school term, however. I suppose it is possible that on appeal the university might reduce the suspension. In reality, these groups should be banned from every university permanently.
