Stanford Law (Cont): Law School Students Protest Dean's Apology to Judge

The ongoing drama at Stanford Law School continues. On Monday, several hundred of the future lawyers of America protested outside the classroom of the law school dean, Jenny Martinez, over her apology to Judge Kyle Duncan after his scheduled speaking event was disrupted by students as well as DEI dean Tirien Steinbach, who used the occasion not to restore order to the event but to take over the podium and give Judge Duncan a dressing down.

Fox News has the story here.

As stated, these numbskull students are future lawyers who don't even understand the basic concept of freedom of speech. As Judge Duncan himself correctly asked, what if in 10-20 years, this type of conduct becomes the norm in our courtrooms (as it has on our college campuses)? Now protestors have employed tactics of intimidation against Dean Martinez and others who did not join their protest. Is this to become a feature of our legal system when these students become lawyers and judges?
