"O'er the land of the Freeeee-EEEE........."
It's that day again. Today they are playing the Big Game (that 1.4 billion people in China don't know about).
It's the Super Bowl, and here are my predictions.
As I write, TV coverage will have already begun with hours of mindless chatter and interviews with coaches and players who will all say the same thing about stepping out between the white lines.
Air Force jets will fly over the stadium as some famous singer butchers the National Anthem. That's about the time I will turn on the TV. (I have no idea who will do the singing.)
At half time, 1,000 or so young folks will run onto the field as some famous singer or singers perform. (I have no idea who is singing,) The show will end will great clouds of smoke covering the field, which will last about halfway through the third quarter. I will then retake my place on the couch since I have no interest in the halftime show. Hopefully, this year, the singers won't wave their crotches at the cameras like last year.
Finally, it's time I pick the winner and the score.
Chiefs 35
Bucs 20
Game MVP: Either Travis Kelce or Patrick Mahomes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Final: Tampa Bay 31
KC 9
MVP: Tom Brady
What do I know?
