Divestment (from Israel) Vote Tonight at UC Irvine

 Hat tip Daily Wire and Shirley

Well, the little rascals are at it again at UC Irvine. The student government once again has to contend with debating and voting on a resolution to boycott companies that do business with Israel. It's all part of the BDS campaign (Boycott, Divest and Sanctions) that continues to pester our universities and divide our students.

It is also anti-Semitic because there is only one country that is constantly the target of these asinine resolutions put forth by Students for Justice in Palestine and the Muslim Student Association chapters: That is the Jewish state of Israel.

It is also all based on lies about Israel, the only democracy in a geographic sewer called the Middle East, filled with Arab countries where democracy and human rights mean nothing.

Apparently, it is expected that the resolution will pass. At that time, the university will issue a statement from the chancellor that it will disregard the resolution. So it's basically all for naught.

The Daily Wire article below has a link to the Jerusalem Post, which in turn, has a video taken by Yours Truly at a May 2017 disruption of an Israeli event at UCI. In fact, the outburst was triggered by my question to the SJP protesters. It gives you a taste of what this conflict on campus is all about.

So let the little rascals play house tonight until 2 in the morning if they have to. This is our University of California at Irvine in action.

* Update: It passed 19-3.
