Former UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) professor of History of Consciousness (??), Angela Davis, is still popping up from time to time. The Marxist former Black Panther (more on that later) now says that capitalism is racist and we must adopt socialism if we are to eliminate racism. Campus Reform has the story.

In case there are any UCSC History of Consciousness majors reading this, the comment by the UCSC College Republicans was purely sarcastic.
It should also be noted that Democracy Now is a radio program on the Marxist California radio station KPFK, hosted by left-wing journalist Amy Goodman. And who is Amy Goodman, you ask?
You don't wanna know.
But back to Angela. Before her professorial days, Angela was a fugitive from justice wanted on charges she purchased the weapons for an August 1970 attempt to free George Jackson of the Marxist-Leninist Black Guerilla Family from a courtroom where he was on trial in Marin County, California. That resulted in the presiding judge having his head blown off in a hostage situation. Two months later, Davis was captured in New York City and returned to California for trial. She was acquitted, and like so many other washed-up revolutionaries, she went on to academic fame eventually finding a home at UC Santa Cruz (America's Wackiest University) and becoming that institution's most famous Banana Slug.
Oh, did I mention she was also the winner of the former USSR's prestigious Lenin Peace Prize? Silly me.

Love the fact that these commies think that plumbing, electricity, choices of food stuffs restaurants, cafes come in a communist society. Well it doesn't. We have millions of Americans here today that escaped communism and sure glad they did. Communist is for lazy backward thinking people, only people who lead a good life are the Oligarchs at the very top. Castro died with over a billion dollars.
The only people who live well under communism are the ones running the show. In addition, it requires a tyrannical government to enforce it.
