Italy: Dhimmitude in Apulia

Apulia, Italy:Waiting to be conquered

It appears the dhimmis in the Apulian (Puglia in Italian) region of Southern Italy are attempting to draw in Islamic tourists. In order to do that, the local officials are willing to "Islamicize themselves". Standing in opposition are Italy's two biggest opposition figures, Matteo Salvini of the Lega party and Giorgia Meloni of Fratelli d'Italia (Brothers of Italy).

The below article from Il Giornale is translated by Fousesquawk.

Apulia (Puglia), the priority of Emiliano: Money for "Islamic tourism"

The Apulia region of Emiliano (Pd) has published a notice to finance the tourist structure, which "removes Christian symbols" and becomes Muslim friendly: "That's how we make ourselves Islamicized".
-Luca Sablone-8-24-20

A series of initiatives that permits the Apulia territory to open itself to the opportunity of tourism close to the Islamic world: This is the intent of the project, "Muslim friendly", promoted in the  Apulian region as part of the program, "Destination Apulia" and carried out with the Apulia Public Theater and Apulia Promotions.

A public announcement was created for "the presentation of proposals finalized as to the definition of the plan of promotion of the Apulia tourism offer, 'Muslim Friendly'". In that way, while our country has to deal with the drastic economic consequences  caused by the Corona virus emergency, the left extends its hand to Islamic tourism. Evidently, (this) represents a priority in respect to the needs of the Italians.

The public announcement provides a comprehensive budget of 90,000 Euros, IVA (value added tax) included for promotional projects which have to be accomplished between October 1 and November 18, 2020; at the same time, they must include overnight stays, guided tours, tourist packages, and catering. Stop, however. There is a principle condition to be respected: One must take into account,"the particular needs of the Muslim tourists, who, according to recent research in the sector are constantly growing in numbers, as well as having peculiarities which make them also qualitatively very interesting for the Apulian territory".

"We will Islamicize ourselves"

It all has been denounced by Georgia Meloni, who on her own social profile, has taken note of the notice (click here to read it) by which the tourist structures are to be financed "which remove Christian symbols", becoming 'Muslim friendly', and make themselves more welcoming to Muslims. Among the provisions, separate pools between men and women (but haven't genders been abolished by the left?), baby-sitters,  and personnel dressed appropriately (no mini-dress, better in burqa), and a series of other embarrassing rules. All in all, we pay with public resources to Islamicize ourselves," was the harsh comment from the leader of Fratelli d'Italia (Brothers of Italy party).

Matteo Salvini via Twitter:

"Effectively a priority....Given the multiplication of landings of small boats, barges, and even sailing ships on the most beautiful coasts of Salento, I would say we are on a good path....Poor Apulia, this left is a disgrace: On September 20-21, we will send them home. Are you with us?"

Each project proposal included in the "Muslim Friendly" Apulia Promotion Plan will be acquired by TPP for a minimum (fee) equal to 3,000 euros (including tax) up to a maximum of 10,000 euros (including tax). The notice has provoked a reaction also from Matteo Salvini; the leader of the League (party) has provided an ironic explanation taking into consideration the explosion of landings that continues to impact Italy. "Effectively a priority....Given the multiplication of landings of small boats, barges, and even sailing ships on the most beautiful coasts of Salento, I would say we are on a good path....Poor Apulia, this left is a disgrace: On September 20-21, we will send them home. Are you with us?", wrote the ex-interior minister. In the evening, after the polemics, the Apulian Public Theater decided to withdraw the Muslim Friendly notice, explaining that the notice "must be submitted to the regional council for evaluation."
