Ever since Matteo Salvini was ousted as Italian interior minister, the floodgates have been re-opened by the empty suits in the government of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. Every day, boatloads of migrants arrive from North Africa. The country, struggling with the deadly Covid virus, is overwhelmed and cannot adequately house the migrants. Here is one of the most recent videos of migrants arriving in Italy this week (3 News 24).
On Monday, at the Sicilian port of Porto Empedocle, hundreds of migrants broke out of the overcrowded housing center. Now the police are trying to hunt them down. You can watch the actual video of the breakout here. (Il Giornale)
Meanwhile, in Milan in Northern Italy, hundreds of migrants camp out on the streets and in front of the train station. Their intent is to make their way to countries like Germany or Sweden, who have more welfare resources to care for them. The below video is from Il Giornale. So there it is: The migrants are picked up at sea off the coast of Libya by European NGO ships and disembarked at Sicily, where hundreds of migrants are placed in overcrowded reception centers. From there, they are escaping, making their way north to places like Milan, and hoping to reach places like Germany and Sweden, where the streets are paved with gold. Along the way, innocent people are robbed, assaulted, raped and murdered. It's the new Europe.
