It's Wakeup Time in Ottawa

Ottawa, Canada has joined other cities in setting a 5 am wake up call for all. That's because it's Ramadan, and mosques are being given permission to blast their early morning prayers for the whole neighborhood to hear.

And not just that, aside from the religious verses recited in Arabic, they are getting a healthy dose (in English) of prayers for the Palestinians and damnation for those Zionist Jews. That's because the man with the microphone standing in the street in front of the mosque, Firas Al Najim, is a fervent supporter of the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.

Here, via Vlad Tepes blog, is the text of a letter sent to the mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson, by the head of the Jewish Defense League in Canada, Meir Weinstein:

To The Attention of Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson;

It has come to my attention that the City of Ottawa has given permission for the “Muslim Call To Prayer” to recited outside of an Islamic Center by the leader of the BDS Canadian Defenders for Human Rights. This BDS leader concluded his “Call To Prayer” by spreading hate against “the evil Zionists” Here is the video “Watch “Athan call for prayer in Ottawa after city gives permission on April 30th.
