A Canadian Muslim politician has issued a strange comment on the fire at Paris' Notre Dame cathedral, implying that the fire was some sort of "divine intervention" for France's ban on burkas. Eve Torres also issued a veiled threat against a Montreal cathedral located on Notre Dame Street.

The cause of the fire in Paris is still under investigation. There have been a number of disturbing reports of certain people expressing glee at the fire, which we are still checking up on, such as social media comments with smiling emojis on them. This latest report out of Canada can only exacerbate the situation. Torres should be roundly condemned.
