The Attack on Frank Magnitz (AfD) in Bremen

Hat tip Gates of Vienna, Vlad Tepes and Miss Piggy

This week's vicious attack on Alternatif fuer Deutschland official, Frank Magnitz in Bremen is becoming even more controversial thanks to the German media. In the below clip from Gates of Vienna, the German female reporter starts off by saying that they will stick to the facts and report only what they know for sure. The report then goes on to discredit the AfD and their statements about the attack.

From Vlad Tepes, here is a report showing an interview with one of the doctors in the hospital where Magnitz was being treated, You can also see graphic photos of his wounds. Yet, the ARD (and Radio Bremen) media report is more intent on questioning the extent of Magnitz's injuries and exposing the "lies" of the AfD regarding the attack being a case of attempted homicide. Yet, the below video clip in slow motion appears to show one man striking Magnitz with some sort of club then handing it to the second man as they leave the scene. The doctor says unequivocally that Magnitz's major wound came from the front not as a result of being pushed to the ground from behind.

The question I have is whether we have been shown the complete video available showing what happened to Magnitz. In the BBC video below, you can see CCTV footage showing Magnitz being followed by three men. The clip changes and we see that contact has already been made as Magnitz and two attackers enter the screen. Between those two clips, it seems that there was some sort of contact which probably caused his most serious head injuries-before he was knocked to the ground.

AfD is to the German media what President Trump is to the American media. That these reporters would attempt to downplay this attack in order to discredit the AfD is contemptible.
