Our news media is running out of gas in trying to portray Native American activist Nathan Phillips as a kindly, soft-spoken, elderly gentleman who was "abused" by white high school kids last week in Washington DC. Not only do the videotapes show the opposite, but now we learn that the day after that incident, Phillips helped lead a group of protesters who tried to disrupt a Catholic service in Washington.

The best thing the news media can do for their own sake is to forget this guy. He is a fake. Nathan Phillips is an agitator and instigator. This entire story is an embarrassment not only to him, but to the media and the left, which have stirred up sentiment against a group of high schoolers.
