From Gaza to Belgium

Hat tip Joods Actueel

This is an alarming report from Belgium and is cross-posted from the Jewish Belgian outlet, Joods Actueel. It appears that Gazans are flowing into Belgium as refugees, even though they primarily arrive from Egypt or Turkey. This represents a dramatic increase from when Theo Francken was state minister for asylum and migration. Francken is criticizing his successor, Maggie De Block, who has increased the number of admissions. The largest group being admitted are Gazans. Understandably, that has the Jewish community worried.

Below are two articles from Joods Actueel in Flemish. Translation by Fousesquawk.

"Hamas in Belgium, a direct threat to the Jewish population"

Hamas members in Belgium, an acute danger for the Jewish community

Not only the Jewish community is worried, now Mark Geleyn, former ambassador in Germany and Israel is also sounding the alarm. This year alone, more than 2000 Gazan refugees received asylum in our country and hundreds of others are waiting for papers.
And who says Gaza, says Hamas. "Hamassers are people who not only hate Jews - that is more common - but they also want to kill," says the former diplomat who warns, " Hamas in Belgium, that is not just a higher level of alarm. This is about the life and death of Belgian Jews. This should be for the government, alarm level one. "

How long? How long will it take before a Jewish victim of the influx from Gaza happens here in Belgium?

Mark Geleyn was also director general at Foreign Affairs for many years

The Gazans have found a way out of their country and that road apparently goes straight to Belgium. While Israel tightly controls the transit posts, Egypt is more lax with the blockade. This is how the Gazans get into Cairo, not to stay there, but to try their luck in Europe. And Belgium is a preferred destination. From Cairo they fly to Istanbul and from there via detours to our country.
Or they fly via Spain, where the new government opened the borders, to wave the influx to the north. Some Gazans manage to fly directly to Brussels from Cairo. Gazans staying in Egypt obviously do not need a Belgian asylum because they are in safety in Egypt. If they are in Turkey or in Spain, they are also in safety there.
Internal struggle
But in Belgium, asylum is almost certain, because "Gaza is threatened by Israel and oppressed by Hamas". Are the  Gazans persecuted? Some are, especially if they belong to the Fatah movement of Palestinian President Abbas. A few years ago, Fatah and Hamas fought a bloody battle for power. Fatah lost and many of their members found refuge ....with the Israelis.

Among the emigrants who now find their way to Belgium, there are undoubtedly many regimental and Hamas cadres. They simply get out more easily. And the control of the remaining family ensures that the emigrants behave as Hamas wishes.

Beloved Belgium
In the meantime, there is already "camp Belgik" talk among Gazans. Why Belgium  is so popular, probably has to do with our asylum policy that has been disrupted by supranational judges. Brussels with its army of NGOs and European institutions that hold on to open borders is possibly also be a factor. And the fact that the Belgian government is at odds with Israel, invariably condemns the country in the UN, and looks away when Hamas sends missiles or attacks the border, they know perfectly in Gaza.
Life and death for Jews
But all those considerations are actually unimportant. What is important here, and what should make all the red lights blink, is that Hamas members in Belgium are now walking around freely. (Members of) Hamas are people who not only hate Jews - that is more common - but they also want to kill them.
Hamas in Belgium, that is not just a higher level of alarm. This is about the life and death of Belgian Jews. This should be for the government, alarm grade one.
Some politicians often refer to the Shoah and underline that they have learned the lessons from it. And they want to ensure that it never repeats itself. This is such a moment.
Maggie De Block
The new Secretary of State for Migration, Mrs Maggie De Block, announced that she would like to have the already regularized Gazans re-examined, which her predecessor, Mr Francken, had already planned. But our procedures are cumbersome and our migration services probably have only a minimal awareness of the urgency to stop this leak. A completely different approach is needed here.

In the below article, which as a video in Flemish, Francken expresses his concern over the flow of Gazans into Belgium.

Theo Francken "I understand the fear of the Jewish community about the massive influx of Palestinians"

In a video message on Facebook, former secretary of state for Asylum and Migration, Theo Francken (N-VA), states that he understands the reaction of the Jewish community when it comes to the massive influx of Palestinians from Gaza to our country. He accuses his successor, Maggie De Block (Open VLD), that she has lifted his quota of 50 asylum requests per day and denounces the termination of the social media removal campaigns. The Francken video was viewed more than 160,000 times in less than 24 hours.

I'm sure that these new Hamas "refugees" in Belgium will have plenty in common with the hundreds of local Moroccan-Belgians who have joined ISIS. Maybe they'll be able to swap ideas on how to deal with Jews and Infidels.
