SJP Thugs Disrupt David Horowitz in Houston

Students for Justice in Palestine is a brown shirt student group co-founded by UC Berkeley professor Hatem Bazian,a  native of the West Bank. Bazian also co-founded American Muslims for Palestine which funds SJP.

The tactics of SJP are simple: They disrupt events held by groups they disagree with, generally pro-Israel events. They intimidate students and speakers with opposing views. I have seen them (and videotaped them) up close and personal at UC Irvine, where I formerly taught part-time.

So it was a few days ago when David Horowitz spoke at the University of Houston. The UH SJP interrupted his presentation with a loud outburst, screaming and chanting for several minutes before they marched out of the room. Hatem Bazian, sitting in his Islamophobia Research and Documentation Center at UC Berkeley, would be proud. Another chapter in the sordid history of the these shirts was documented. The video may be viewed at the below link.

And here is an example of the type of journalism that exists at the Daily Cougar (UH campus paper): The writer naturally blames Horowitz.

This is a nationwide problem. Acts like this by SJP happen at universities across the country. They are not fit to be recognized by any university. At UC Irvine, they are on 2-year probation. They should have been permanently banned.
