An Attempt to Whitewash Hate Speech in Canada

Toronto imam Ayman Elkasrawy has been a point of controversy ever since he was recorded in a Toronto mosque calling for the death of Jews. Sure enough, Canada's liberal elite has rushed to his defense. According to the Toronto Star, Elkasrawy is a kind and gentle bridge builder whose words were, sigh, misinterpreted.

These excuses about misinterpretations of Arabic verses are getting pretty old. Killing is killing. I'm pretty sure the Arabic word for killing doesn't have an alternative meaning of "treat them (Jews) with kindness."
