Hat tip Frontpage Magazine
David Horowitz is scheduled to speak tomorrow at UC Berkeley (Well, sort of). He will speak at an off-campus site ( 6 blocks away) that the school administration doesn't want advertised by the College Republicans. and Young Americans Foundation. The school has also dictated the time-1 pm, a time when most students will headed to class to be indoctrinated by professors like Hatem Bazian, Judy Butler, Robert Reich, and hundreds of others.
The location, nonetheless can be accesed by clicking the below link.

Interestingly, I have seen Horowitz speak twice at UC Irvine in the past few years without incident. On the first occasion, his appearance was moved at the last minute to an obscure lecture hall away from the main part of campus, and administrators were there with laptops to document any objectionable statements he may have made. (He made plenty-at least if you were a UCI administrator.) In addition, none of the markers provided for the white board had any link left. Neat trick. But there were no incidents. Then again, UC Irvine is not exactly UC Berkeley.
And kudos to the courageous College Republicans and Young Americans Foundation for standing up and exposing the cowardly administrators at UC Berkeley, who have made a sham of the concept of free speech.

David Horowitz is a despicable parasite, but how are we to know that if his speech is drowned out so we can't hear what arrogant fluff he's peddling? (Paging Voltaire).
I have heard Horowitz speak three times now. He speaks the truth. You may or may not like his style but he is correct.
I like his style, but he's lying. Or more precisely, he wants society to support him in the style he'd like to become accustomed to for going around giving speeches on what a complete idiot he was the first half of his life. Even when he wrote for Ramparts magazine something seemed phony about him.
In the 3 times I have heard him speak, he has hardly mentioned his early life-only in passing.
It is the foundation of his entire promotion.
Foundation? Hardly. It is incidental in my opinion. He has so much else to say, there isn't that much time to dwell on it.
