Ohio State Tells Occupiers to Leave or Else

Hat tip Deneen Borelli, JJ Surbeck and Debbie

If San Diego State University President Elliot Hirshman is within the sound of my voice (and not trapped in his campus police cruiser) he might want to read what recently happened at Ohio State University, where students decided to occupy a building.

I might note that OSU President Michael Drake was formally chancellor at UC Irvine. He didn't usually show that kind of fortitude though the students who disrupted the Israeli ambassador's speech at UCI in 2010 were arrested and successfully prosecuted.

*Update: Here is a response from the OSU administration to criticisms of the occupiers. It is from the OSU campus paper, The Lantern.

Toto, I don't think Michael Drake is in California any more.

No, he isn't. Nor in Kansas.
