When universities run amok with political correctness, the best disinfectant is publicity. That is what Fox News did when Texas Christian University came down hard on a student for saying things that the university deemed inappropriate. Now TCU has decided to reinstate the student amid a wave of bad publicity.

Personally, I think Mr Vincent should hold out for a better deal from TCU like that lady with the credit score in the TV commercial.
Like say, a departmental chair?

Well. after following the link you provided, I realized that the university was quite right to put the young punk on probation, not for his beliefs, but for his language.
College is definitely not the military, but the phrase "unbecoming to an officer and a gentleman" does come to mind.
