Brigitte Gabriel Speaks at the UN

Hat tip Frontpage Magazine

On September 8, 2014, the founder of ACT for America, Brigitte Gabriel, spoke at the United Nations on behalf of Israel and against anti-Semitism. Her words were powerful and direct. Here is the text of what she said as reported on Frontpage Magazine.

I have some readers who don't like Gabriel because she attacks the tenets of Islam. Some don't like the strident style they see on TV. I, however, do  support her and her organization. On two occasions, I have spoken to ACT chapters in Southern California. Gabriel knows from personal, first-hand experience in her native Lebanon the dangers we are facing.

To those readers who want to attack Gabriel, please explain why you take issue with what was said at the UN.

Most of her stated facts are accurate, but she mixes her categories in an act of pure sophistry. ISIS is not Hamas is not the PA, none of the above are the essence of Islam, and every people in the world do not have an established right to statehood, so saying that "the Jewish people" are "the only people" denied this "right" is mendacious.

Trying to keep a complex situation simple, and gloss over inconvenient details, is not nearly so impressive as the skill with which she weaves her words.
