Pro-Palestinians Try to Stop Israeli Ship From Off-Loading

Hat tip Orange County Independent Task Force on Anti-Semitism

I didn't know terrorists had a union.

Anyway, a bunch that calls itself a Palestinian workers union-or some such nonsense- tried today to convince longshoremen in the port of Long Beach, California not to off-load an Israeli ship as part of the boycott, divest and sanctions movement against Israel.

Supposedly, about 100 of these mopes showed up at the port today with their dopey signs. No doubt, they sang, "Free free Palestine", "From the river to the sea" and all those other top ten hits.

But there is good news. First of all, the port is a restricted access area and all goods coming off foreign ships have to go into a Customs warehouse for Customs clearance. That is not a public area.

Secondly, while I don't know how it all turned out, I doubt the longies went along with the request. If they don't unload anything, there is nothing they can steal.

This is the difference between a workers movement and a bunch of chumps who try to claim the name but don't have the game. No, I doubt any longshore union, whether the Mafia controlled ILA or the communist leaning ILWU are going to pay much attention to this. They can call themselves the "Palestinian workers union," but I bet a lot of them aren't Palestinian, few of them are workers, and they're not a union.
