Nothing-no tragedy can keep Barack Obama from his appointed rounds when there are jokes to tell. Today he was in Delaware making a speech. He opened his speech by stating that "...there may be a tragedy.." referring to the Malaysian Airlines shoot down in Eastern Ukraine. He then switched gears seamlessly as he began making jokes and giving shout outs to some in the crowd.
You only have to watch the first 2-3 minutes to get the gist.

He just doesn't get it.

It seems the crowd did. Maybe Gary Fouse just doesn't get it. Some people actually like our president. A bit more than half, and some of the rest aren't devoting four whole years to nitpicking about what's wrong with him.
Why don't you say something about the Cubs? One thing I don't like about Barack Obama is that he is rumored to be a White Sox fan. But whenever I mention that, I'm told that Michelle is a Cubs fan.
(No Gary, its not worth dropping such a fierce loyalty over.)
Hey, have you ever read a John Grisham novel called Calico Joe? Its fiction of course, because its about a phenomenal batter the Cubs pulled up from a AAA team, who got hits his first four times at bat, and was leading the team to the top of the division in 1973. Then a Mets pitcher beaned him and he never played again.
There had to be a tragedy... otherwise, Grisham couldn't even have made fiction believable if it would have brought the Cubs a pennant. But its the kind of book that is hard to put down. And there hasn't been one lawyer in the story so far.
