Harry Reid (D-NV) has officially notified the Washington Redskins that he will never attend another Washington Redskins game until they change their offensive name (Redskins, not Washington).

And he did it in writing-on official US Senate stationary, no less.
Am I to assume that Reid has never attended a Redskins game? That's because this issue has been recurring on or off for decades now. So if Reid has in fact, attended games in the past, say in the 1990s or 1980s, or who knows, back in the 1930s when they were the Boston Redskins (which is entirely possible in Harry's case) then why wasn't he so outraged then?
Or is he just grandstanding and jumping on the band wagon?

Remember, Harry Reid is still in office courtesy of the Tea Party.
The Las Vegas NBA team has the same name as the Milwaukee NHL team.
