Not only has Brandeis embarrassed itself by buckling under to CAIR pressure to withdraw an honorary degree and speech by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, it has now given a $10,000 grant to two students from J Street U to travel to the Middle East to "repair relations" with Al Quds University.
J Street U is the campus arm of J Street, a phony organization that calls itself "Pro-Israel-pro-peace", but is anything but.

What a university. You heckle a speaker and instead of being disciplined or kicked out of school, they give you a grant to travel overseas. Keep in mind that Brandeis is a university supported by Jewish community funds. I can only hope and pray that those funds totally disappear.
*Correction: As a reader has stated, the award is not from Brandeis itself, but from an outside group. However, its stated purpose is to "repair" relations between Brandeis and Al Quds University. Why would Brandeis want to repair relations in the first place? It broke relations after Al Quds held Nazi-style exhibitions on its campus.

The grant came from an outside foundation: http://www.davisprojectsforpeace.org/ -- Brandeis had nothing to do with it.
Yes, that is correct, however, why should Brandeis be interested in having these students go to "repair" relations with Al Quds after the latter's Nazi-style exhibitions? The trip is on their behalf.
Brandeis is a disgrace.
