Constitutional expert Sheila Jackson Lee made this statement on the House floor on Wednesday
“Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not,” she said.

I think she was confusing the Constitution with the age of the planet or the year of the last Cubs' World Series championship.

The members of the House of Representatives swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. I wonder what Constitution she is referring to when she was sworn in?
And yes, the cubs have not won a World Series title for the past 400 years. Be sure to let Sheila know.
With tongue in cheek, Squid
Gary, you're the Youngest Earth Creationist I've ever read. Only 400 years? You also understate the record of our beloved Cubs. Didn't the win the series only 108 years ago?
