France "Celebrates" New Years Eve

Hat tip Gallia Watch

"Good news, mein Fuehrer. Paris is burning."

(So is Berlin.)

Actually, the "good news" is that only 1,067 cars were burned on New Years Eve in France. That's apparently an improvement over previous years. Gallia Watch brings together reports from Le Figaro and French blogs to bring us up to date on the "celebrations" around France, which included three homicides.

Reminds me of San Francisco after Italy beat Germany in the World Cup for what everyone in the world except the U.S. calls football.
