Update on Those Syrian Rebels We're Supposed to Support

Hat tip Weasel Zippers

Here is an update on the Syrian rebels that our government and certain organizations in the US (like CAIR) think we should be supporting.

And you want to send American troops into this cauldron to bring democracy to Syria? No thanks.

We agree on this at least: There is no way that American troops could enter into this situation and substantially improve the outcome. Possibly if the world, including the U.S., had the stamina and the motivation to send in a million soldiers or so to take command of every square inch and shoot anyone who opposes them -- but then, that kind of command and control can spiral into a whole new kind of disaster.
