Hat tip The Tower and JJ
Asaf Romirowsky and Alexander Joffe have written the below piece on the Quakers in The Tower. In this piece, they outline the utter hypocrisy of the Quaker-affiliated American Friends Service Committee, an organization four-square in support of the Palestinians against Israel. They trace the history of the AFSC and its evolution into a secular, left-wing group that ignored the evil committed by America's enemies during the Cold War just as it ignores the evil committed by today's terrorists and the regime in Iran. This is a long article, but highly informative.

"In 2008, the AFSC, along with other similarly minded religious groups, hosted a gala dinner with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the guest of honor, despite Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust denial, anti-Semitism, and genocidal threats against the Jewish state."
It is legitimate to call into question the Quaker tradition of non-violence when they completely ignore the long history of Palestinian terrorism and violence against the Jewish state. As a Protestant Christian, I am troubled by the actions of organizations like this. Like the AFSC, the Presbyterian Church USA has also taken an activist stance against Israel. Why do they hold Israel to a double standard, a standard that they completely ignore when it comes to Israel's sworn enemies?
It is this double standard (as if Israel actually engaged in the barbarity of her enemies in the first place) that leads many to conclude that anti-Zionism, is really a thinly-disguised anti-Semitism.
