Meanwhile-Christmas in the Holy Land

In the wake of yesterday's bombing which killed 16 people in Egypt, the government has declared the Muslim Brotherhood to be a terrorist group.

Meanwhile in Iraq, Christians celebrating the day were targets of two separate bomb attacks killing 37 people.

In Iran, an American pastor remains in prison for practicing his faith-ignored by our administration in the course of negotiations with that outlaw regime.

In Afghanistan, the US embassy was hit by two mortar or rocket rounds. Nobody was injured.

In Rome, the Pope, whoever he may be, does what he always does. He calls for world peace. Wonderful. Better he should demand an end to Christian persecution in the Islamic world.

Lest we forget, there is really only one country in the Holy Land where Christians can freely practice their faith-as can the followers of other religions. That is Israel.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hannuka. If you celebrate neither, happy holidays and peace.  All this goes especially to our troops.

Findalis,

Siarlys has bought into that GOlden Age of Andalusia crap.

Monogamous?Huh?

Andalusia. It was crap and propaganda, which we hear over and over. It was true that Christian anti-semitism was worse then, but Jews still lived in dhimmi status. Moses Maimonides, who lived part of his life then wasn't so complimentary.
