Hat tip The Radio Equalizer and Brian Maloney
"Look Ma, no brains."
Back on October 17, MSNBC butter and egg man Ed Schultz, while on his radio show, took a caller who was a veteran upset about losing his health insurance. Listen in as Ed berates and insults the caller. Also note near the end where Ed tells the caller that his (Ed's) tax dollars supplied (the vet) with his benefits.

Ed should stick with his TV show, where he has more control over whom he interacts with. As you know, there is hardly any debate with opposing views on MSNBC's TV programming.
But did you note how Ed terminated the caller? Once he made the snide comment that his tax dollars paid for the vet's benefits, the caller began to reply, "And my.." That's where Ed cut him off. Of course. Ed knew he had opened the door to the perfect comeback, you know something like, "And my service enabled you to have the freedom to get on the air and make an ass of yourself."
Note to MSNBC: Please, please don't fire this guy.

You're really beating a dead horse, Gary, but your closing line betrays why.
That vet and millions like him ensured the freedoms Schultz enjoys. One day someone will teach Schultz and ilk that fact very well.
Siarlys,
Why should I want MSNBC to fire someone who continually embarrasses them and the liberal cause?
Exactly Gary. I understand your motive very well.
Findalis, some vets ensured freedoms, others had their blood and youth wasted by incompetent leadership. We owe them either way, but we should recognize the difference.
And what difference did Schultz recognize? That jerk never served a day in uniform.
Who's defending Schultz? The guy would be an embarrassment to any cause, ideology, party, philosophy, or organization that he offered to be part of. I just noted that you're beating a dead horse, not that you're assaulting an honorable man.
