Eboo Patel, who spoke so eloquently at UC Irvine a couple of weeks back, is one of the 200 or so recipients of the Freedom Pledge, sent out by Former Muslims United to Muslim leaders in America. It asks them to sign a simple declaration that American apostates from Islam should not be harmed.

It appears that just like all the rest (with the exception of two), Patel has not signed. Hopefully, at one of his future speaking appearances, he will be asked why not.
