British comedian George Galloway was confronted this week at the Oxford Student Union by an Israeli who flashed an Israeli flag as described in this piece from Jerusalem Post. Galloway responded by saying that the last time he saw an Israeli flag it was being carried by the English Defense League.

I would like to ask Mr Galloway what flags he chooses to fly.
The flag of Syria under his friend Bashar Assad?
The flag of Iraq under his friends, Saddam Hussein and his two murderous sons?
The flag of Hezbollah under Hassan Nasrallah?
Or the flag of Hamas in Gaza?
Or the flag of Iran, his employers at Press TV?
What flags do you carry, Mr Galloway?

I wonder if he even considers himself an Englishman.
I also wonder if he ever considered the circumstance that if he were a subject or citizen of Syria, Iraq (at the time), Hamas, or Iran and actively aided the enemies of those states what his fate would be.
As I understand it you are subject to a death penalty if you decide you no longer want to be a Muslim. I imagine that traitors, either in fact or in their perception, would get something quite a bit worse.
It is the same feeling I get watching the MSU speaking freely on the campus of UCI, lauding Hamas among others while if they were lauding the U.S. or Israel on the campus of some school in Gaza they would be torn apart by the mob and the authorities would look the other way.
I'd like to see Gary and George do point-counterpoint on SNL.
