Hat tip Atlas Shrugs
The above picture pretty much sums it up. With our administration and our ambassador in Cairo disapproving of the ouster of Mohammed Morsi, popular outrage among the populace is at an all-time high. The below Wall Street Journal article pretty much says it all. They don't even like the in-coming ambassador.

And it's not just Obama and his feckless administration, which has backed the wrong side in Egypt (Muslim Brotherhood). Blame must also be shared by John McCain and Lindsey Graham, two republican senators who have outlived their usefulness. This past week, they traipsed over to Cairo to tell the current leaders that they must release Mohammed Morsi and those Brotherhood leaders in jail.
Maybe we should just realize that these folks don't like us and act accordingly. It seems our presence there is doing more harm than good. Whatever we do, whatever we say, they think we are interfering in their affairs. If that is true, perhaps, a little absence will make the heart grow fonder. A little distance is perhaps in order.
Personally, I support the action of the military in Egypt. I hope they crush the Brotherhood once and for all. They would be doing the world a favor. We should keep out mouths shut and be thankful. But no; the Obamas, the McCains and the Grahams will keep meddling and keep trying to manipulate events in the Middle East.
Arab Spring my toucas.

They can't crush the Brotherhood once and for all. The number of Egyptians who support the Brotherhood are rather too large for that, unless you also support gas chambers and mass crematoria. I'm cautiously relieved that the military removed Morsi from office, but the Brotherhood isn't just going to vanish into thin air.
The Russians are courting the Egyptians. It seems the Egyptians don't want to be friends with the US, only our money.
Once Egypt was a vassal of the Soviets. I see it will soon be again.
Obama's foreign policy hard at work!
Let the Russians have them.
