Meanwhile in the Fatherland, "The Hitler Youth" is Back

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

    Youth then                                                                             Youth now

Without HItler, to be sure, but the youth without doubt. The below video from Hamburg shows "youths" (Jugend) confronting German police  after motorists complained of the "youths" shining lasers in the eyes.

"Youths" of course is code word in many European countries for young Muslim immigrants who take to the streets and cause mayhem. Of course, a more fitting photo montage would be a photo of brawling SA men on the left. The Hitler Youth at least were disciplined and followed orders. (That's not praise, mind you, so save your cards and letters.)

I don't see any evidence that the youth with the laser pointers are members of a government-sanctioned organization, whether the Hitler Youth or the SA. If they were, the police wouldn't be moving in on them. Don't you know the difference between a street gang and an arm of the ruling party?

Siarlys,

I think I adequately made the disclaimer on the picture of the HJ. The key word here is "youth".

No Gary, the key word is "Hitler." The word "youth" has no particular ideological connotations. There are youth all over the world, at all times.
