It Is Indeed a Phony (IRS) Scandal Says Jack Lew

Hat tip National Review and NewsBusters

Jack Lew (Autographed photo)

That's what Treasury Secretary and Obama hack told David Gregory and Chris Wallace today as he did the Sunday round of  network news interviews. Apparently, George Stephanopoulos and Candy Crowley never asked him about it.

No sense here in recounting why the acting IRS chief Doug Shulman made all those 150 or so trips to the White House unless he needed that many to find an Easter egg, or why the IRS Chief Counsel, William Wilkins (appointed by Obama) was in the White House two days before "advice" was sent out to the field about Tea Party tax-exempt applications. Like Lew says, that's not proof of any White House involvement. After all, there are no tapes that we know of.

But if there was no scandal, then would Secretary Lew please explain to me why top IRS official Lois Lerner took the 5th when called before Congress to testify?

I grow tried of this deceit, deception and dishonesty. But, we must stand and fight these Saul Alinskyites who would tell you: "are you going to believe what I tell you or your lying eyes".
