Hat tip Free Beacon and JJ Surbeck from Training and Education About the Middle East (San Diego)
It is astounding to me how religious organizations like the Presbyterian Church USA, the Church of Scotland, and the Quakers can link arms with those who want to destroy the Jewish state of Israel. JJ Surbeck of Training and Education About the Middle East (San Diego chapter) has sent me this article from Free Beacon, which describes how the Quakers are supporting boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel.

How ironic that the Quakers, who supposedly oppose all wars and all violence, are aligned with those who have no interest in peace whatsoever?
I am troubled. I am not by any means a religious person, but I do consider myself a Protestant Christian as opposed to a Catholic Christian (My wife is Catholic.) I don't really identify with any particular Protestant denomination, but what spiritual belief I do have is based on my identification of Jesus Christ as my Prophet and role model. I consider that Martin Luther did a great thing in starting the Reformation. Not so great was his anti-Semitism (based on theology) and belief that Jews should be driven out of Germany.
But where anti-Semitism is involved in Christianity, I object. The reason is simple: That is not what Jesus would have preached in the centuries following his crucifixion. It is shameful that certain Christian leaders and their churches are aligning themselves with those who commit murder and acts of terrorism against Israelis.
I can only conclude that they are misguided or anti-Semitic.

Its not so sweet and noble as the movie "Exodus."
