UC Riverside Response to Divestiture Vote
Student government at UC Riverside
As reported here a few days ago, the UC Riverside student government voted for a resolution demanding the university divest from companies that do business with Israel. Then the interim chancellor issued this statement.

"It is important to note that such divestment is not the policy of the University of California system nor of UC Riverside. Moreover, The UC Board of Regents requires this action only when the U.S. government deems it necessary. No such declaration has been made regarding Israel."
Gee. All that time and work for nothing. Guess we better get back in our classes.

The university should force all students to divest themselves immediately. Remove their cellphones, laptops, etc... The chips inside them are not only invented in Israel, they are made in Israel.
Heck the university should go further and divest from all things Jewish. No more Jewish students and professors. And let the world know why. They could be the first school to become Judenfrei!
