Michelle Obama's TV Moments

Is this what our military is being used for?

I don't usually criticize Michelle Obama. For the most part (since her 2008 campaign comments about America) she has done what first ladies are supposed to do. Yes, she has taken a few extravagant vacations at tax-payers' expense, and her efforts to get us all to go on diets is absurd, but for the most part, I have chosen to focus on the "high crimes and misdemeanors" of her husband, who is determined to lower America down to the level of say, Belgium. Last week, however, Mrs Obama found herself in the spotlight.

First of all, I take serious offense at her using military personnel in full dress uniform as a backdrop for her to announce an Oscar award for that self-absorbed crowd of primping peacocks in Hollywood.

Enough said.

Secondly, did you know that ABC did some creative editing in that interview of the First Lady? That was when she was describing the shooting death of a Chicago schoolgirl, in which she referred to the perps being young people who had "automatic weapons they didn't need". ABC edited those few words out of the interview since the incident likely did not involve automatic weapons, rather handguns-the norm in Chicago gang shootings. When asked for an explanation, ABC said it was done in the interest of "time". Never mind that what they cut out only involved 3-7 seconds out of more than 8 minutes of interview.

In other words, ABC protected Michelle from what would have been a tempest in a teapot moment-but protect her they did.

Of course, we won't know whether the editing was done solely on the decision of ABC or whether someone at the White House asked them to do so. Whichever it was, the fact remains that we have a news media that is completely in the tank for the administration. We may as well have a state-run media.

Amazing! Someone in the just the news media or this transparent administration would edit an event to slant the story?

I hope Zimmerman wins a billion dollars from them in his lawsuit against them for their false reporting.

I doubt if the WH has any complaints over the coverage of them.

Oh, I forgot about the time he did not let them take pictures of the President and Tiger Woods. It happens that Obama flew down to Florida (at $186,000 an HOUR cost to fly) for a weekend of golf with Tiger in the midst of what he says is a financial crises and the press wasn't allowed to take pictures!!!!

God! I hope we make it out of these next 3 years.

For a man who despises the President of the United States, you've had MULTIPLE times when you candidly said 'I don't usually have anything good to say about Obama, but he did this, this, and this very well.'
