Hillary's Concussion-Where's the Medical Report?

Many many years ago when I was a 10th grader at Venice High School in Los Angeles, a few of us mischief makers decided to take advantage of the Jewish holiday to cut school and go hang out at University High School up in W LA. That was the school I really wanted to attend but couldn't due to where we were living. (The next year, we did, in fact, move, and I was able to spend my last 2 years at Unihi, as we called it.)

Anyway, about five of us budding brain surgeons walked all the way down Venice Blvd then all the way north on Barrington Ave till we reached Unihi-a distance of about 10 miles, I guess. The gate was open and we walked right in. We got about 50 yards along the main walkway when the first teacher who passed us took one look, knew we were not Uni students, and dragged us off to the principal's office.  After the principal called his Venice counterpart to let him know they had some of their students, he proceeded to call our parents to come and get us. Since we had all told the principal that we were Jewish students enjoying the holiday (not true), when my mom arrived, I told her to tell everybody that we were Jewish.

She refused to play along, and I suffered my due punishment. Lesson learned; never tell anybody you are Jewish-especially these days if you are planning  a trip to Europe-or God forbid- the Middle East (Israel excepted).

That brings me to Hillary Clinton and her concussion.

The State Department, never a bastion of straight talk even under the best of administrations, is reacting to John Bolton's implication that Hillary Clinton was using her reported concussion as an excuse to avoid testifying before Congress on Benghazi. I assume she is being heavily medicated.

Now I am not stating here that the whole concussion story is a big lie. For all I know, she may be lying in an intensive care ward at Walter Reed- Bethesda Hospital with men in dark suits and sunglasses patrolling the hallways outside. On the other hand, I have become a bit jaded after some 20 years of following the Clintons and their shenanigans, so excuse me for my grain of salt.

Why is it that kids who were real hell-raisers grow up to be conservative Republicans, while kids who tended to live straight and work hard tend to become something else?

Your story about skipping under cover of Jewishness reminds me of a Jewish former co-worker who said, as a teen, he and a friend used to trick-or-treat on Nov. 1. People would say, Halloween was yesterday, and they would answer, we're Jewish. People emptied all the remaining candy into their bags.
